An amazing first issue, with incredible artwork and story. The dialog is all very well-written, and the narration is used very well to add further insight. The story is an emotional one, as we witness Bomo Greenbark's fellow troops gunned down by Clone Troopers to buy time for their families to escape. This emotion adds meaning and depth to the expertly drawn action sequences, with every panel driving the story forward. The issue concludes with the heartbreaking reveal that all their fighting was for nothing, as the escaping families have all been captured and sold into slavery.

It is extremely impressive how many references this issue makes to other stories without it being distracting. Maul hires Cad Bane, a fan favourite character from The Clone Wars that I was very excited to see. In his mediation we see flashbacks to the Malachor temple shown in the epic season two finale of Star Wars rebels. And the bartender on Nar Shaddaa is shown training his son, who appears to be the bartender shown in the second arc of Jason Aaron's Star Wars. Even with all these cool refences it managed to tell a good story, so this is perfect for a Star Wars fan like me.

A great start to this miniseries. We already get an explanation for why Palpatine allowed Maul to survive in The Lawless, and there's no shortage of action either. There's an exciting large scale battle between the Separatists and Mandalorians, including a duel between Maul and Grievous.

A fantastic issue that shows new sides of Dooku's relationships with Sidious and General Grievous, This issue also brings Obi-Wan and the Republic into the mix, resulting in uneasy alliances and some great lightsaber duels. This story also does Grievous justice by showing him as the fierce warrior all the microseries fans remember.

This was epic, every page had me excited and hoping the issue would never end. This has been a great series and it got the awesome ending it deserved. Really interesting the way it weaved together so many parts of Anakin's whole life.

A great start to the series with nice character development and fantastic artwork.

I loved seeing Mygeeto again, it brought back cherished memories of the old Battlefront 2. I'm impressed how well Fenn Rau's appearance here ties in with his appearance in Rebels, even more impressive when you see that this comic came out the same day as that episode.

Hearing a clone say "good soldiers follow orders" gave me chills as it brought back memories of The Clone Wars. I liked the way this issue showed that none of Kanan's Jedi training prepared him to survive on his own in the outside world.

A fun issue that was a joy to read, I loved Stance and the friendship he shared with Kanan. Pepe Larraz's art is amazing like always, his clone troopers in particular look very cool.

An amazing issue that explores Obi-Wan's perspective early in the war and really nails his characterization. In addition to the great dialog and narration the story is full of action that the artwork captures beautifully. I enjoyed every page and constantly had to pause to admire the art, both the action scenes and the quiet panels.

I loved the clone troopers but never really got excited about stormtroopers because they seem to always be portrayed as useless. This issue begins to make things right, by giving me the badass stormtroopers I've always wanted! Molina's artwork of the troopers is perfect, and now I cant wait to see this squad catch up with the heroes!

This issue brings the excitement I've been hoping for this entire series. The opening action was great and it's nice to see the rebels with some coordination. I always love seeing Hera appear with the other rebel commanders, I hope at some point she has a bigger role in this series. The plot with the Empire defectors is really interesting and I can't wait to see what happens next. I also really like the new artist and I hope they'll stay on this series!

Another awesome issue that showed off what Luke brings to the rebellion. I loved his conversions with Hera and I was so happy when she compared him to Kanan. It was funny to hear a rebel say Luke looks great in black, knowing he'll be wearing a black costume by the next movie. I'm excited to see where the story goes as Episode VI approaches and the rebels plan to destroy the second Death Star.

Count Dooku has always been one of my favourite characters and I've always found him incredibly interesting. It's tragic how underused he is in the new canon, and this comic begins to make things right. Luke Ross' art is fantastic and fits the story perfectly. I liked that Dooku met a Jedi who was unaware he had fallen to the dark side, it was a creative way of showing how his character has changed.

A great mix of stories with awesome artwork in each one. I'm a big fan of The Clone Wars TV show, so I loved all the references to it.
