We don't have a new costumed Falcon, but we get the new character's first adventure with Captain America. The issue is solid and a good read, but I'm much more interested to see how this all plays out against a whole bunch of villains in snake outfits. The art team does a great job here, but the main problem I have is the werewolf Cap story. It's not my cup of tea. Regardless, Spencer continues to do a great job on this book. I recommend picking this issue up. Read Full Review

Note: Since Redwing is part vampire now " which means so is Joaquin " I'm looking for a vampire/werewolf team-up at some point before Cap Wolf goes away [hopefully for a while]. Read Full Review

    IGN - Jesse Schedeen

Nick Spencer has a special talent for writing emotionally troubled, down-on-their-luck supervillains. While this issue is ostensibly focused on the introduction of the new Falcon, that element is quickly overshadowed by Spencer's efforts to flesh out certain members of the new Serpent Society. The new Falcon while not actually shown fully in this issue is established, and seems to be worthy holder to the name. The Falcon origin was actually told before so this more so recaps what we knew before and shows how he came to be respected by the new Captain. We also learn what Diamondback has been doing since Steve Rodgers left for a new life. Where this issue truly shined for me was in showing the threat of Serpent Solutions (the corporation spawned from the Serpent Squad/Serpent Society). I think they are going to make a great villain for the new Captain.

Picks up right where the last left off. Love whats going on with everyone in this series Spencer is perfect for this cast. But I cant stand the new Falcon. Hes stupid. Half Bird Half Man its weird and unnecessary. So many sidekicks already why add this cornball?

    The Villain

    Jul 11, 2016

The New Falcon tease on the cover is really not as relevant as you would expect when you read this book. Falcon is not costumed at all in this issue and it's more of a focus on him than it is Sam Wilson. The villain is kind of lame in the issue and outside of the Mad Men joke I found the dialogue to be mediocre. I'm still into this story it just doesn't impress me like some of the other issues have.
