The night our with friends are the best visual storytelling this year (so far). This book keep delivering, Marvels best right now and I still think Spider-Woman is a dorky hero.
Spider-Woman #5

The writing is getting a bit better. This issue was actually quite enjoyable. The covers keep kicking ass
Red Wolf #4
DESERT PREDATORS EMERGE FROM THE SHADOWS
Without Sheriff Knight, Red Wolf and the town of Santa Rosa are exposed to the circling vultures.
And Bly is getting bolder - the compulsive crime boss's identity is revealed!
Red will need new allies if he's ever getting back to his world!
It's a really fun and enjoyable book, but the writing is a bit too lighthearted for my taste and a bit too silly. But I will try to get my 17-year old to read it. Hopefully he will get hooked
I Hate Fairyland #3
Queen Cloudia is forced to bend the rules of Fairyland in hopes to rid their world of Gert once and for all.
MAJOR PLOT POINT
Gert will face her greatest foe yet, another human child named... Happy. Will she survive the power of true joy? Spoiler: This time, I'm not sure. We'll see how it goes.
The artwork is incredible. It's dynamic and beautiful. Really, it's worth the price of admission in itself. Jason Aaron s the greatest living comic book writer. Even though the story here doesn't change the world, it is still pushed forward.
I an no fan of Marvels Thor, but I love this book
The Mighty Thor #2
• The return of Loki!
• But for Thor, will he be friend or foe?
Rated T+

Uncanny X-Men #4
• Mutantkind is teetering on the brink of extinction once more! While some mutants seek refuge, others are eager to fight for their species' survival.
• And in the case of the UNCANNY X-MEN, that means taking the fight to those who would hasten mutantkind's decline!
• But are the X-Men biting off mo...
Just when I think Mr. Aaron can't get any better, he ups it one. I am jealous. This guy is the best writer in comics today. I love the Doctor as a character, but he never really worked as much more than a fill-in. But man, does Aaron make him shine. And the beautiful art by Mr. Bachalo only improves the story.
If you love comics, you need to read Doctor Strange right now
Doctor Strange #6
"THE LAST DAYS OF MAGIC" STARTS NOW!
The Emperikul have arrived, leaving universes purged of magic in their wake. Their next target? The Marvel Universe. And with Doctor Strange weakened beyond measure? We don't have a chance!
Rated T+
I usually hate big crossovers. I hate to have to buy ten different comics I don't like to understand a story. But man... I wish they had done a special for each of the magicians in this issue. I would have bought them all
Doctor Strange #5
• The Witchfinder Wolves are here and Doctor Strange is in trouble.
• The Empirikul is coming, Magic's days are numbered and Strange is not ready!
Rated T+

Not really a fan of this storyline.
Big Trouble In Little China #20
Jack has to keep his cover as a great sorcerer worthy of nomination into the Sorcerers' Alliance while Miao Yin and Wang sort out some personal problems!
Jack Burton is back. In time. In the wrong time. I admit it, I was gonna cancel this series, but the Mr. Lente pulled this. The story is good, the characters are great.
New readers can start here. I really, really enjoyed this issue. Laughed out loud a couple of times too.
I'm not a big fan of the art style, I think it's too cartoonish, which the writing is doing just fine on its own. B
