There is a lot to like about Weapon X #27. While the book has been uneven more times than not, #27 begins to bring Sabretooth's story of redemption full circle, and there is something beautiful in how that plays out. Read Full Review

Despite any problems, its an enjoyable issue nonetheless with Sabretooths tale finally wrapping up. Leaves me hopeful for the future and wanting more of this creative team. The series has had its ups and downs, but this issue and arc have redeemed it. Sabretooth fans definitely dont want to miss this! Read Full Review

I don't mind Sabretooth being brought "back to basics", but this issue was severely lacking. There's not enough emotional weight earned. And this was not a final issue by any means.

The only problem I have with undoing Sabretooth's Axis inversion here is that future readers might be tempted to answer the question "how'd that happen?" by reading this series. That would be a poor use of one's time and/or money.

SPOILERS FOLLOWING This is the lowest I have ever rated an issue and it is due to one major fact. Sabretooth's inversion is officially erased this issue. That's right. 4 years of development with lots of unused potential thrown down the drain to revert Sabretooth to fodder Wolverine punching-bag. That's all that's needed to give this the lowest marks. If we had negative scoring systems, it would be there.
