You Don't Read Comics - David Harth

X Deaths Of Wolverine #4 does a remarkable job of laying out the stakes of Moira surviving. Percy picks up Hickman's baton from Inferno and runs with it. He and Vicentini make a great team, and this issue is yet another triumph for this event with an incredible cliffhanger. Read Full Review

Additionally, hes taken the time to clarify how and why everything jives together while making sure to indirectly explain almost every plot thread. I cant help but applaud him for this story and leave excited for the final two installments. Readers will get answers and action wrapped up in a science fiction blender with some outstanding artistry as the frozen yogurt to sweeten this delicious smoothie. There is no doubt its the best issue to date which should leave fans super excited for whats to come. Let me know what you think, have a great week, and God Bless! Read Full Review

The narrative in X Deaths of Wolverine is ramping up to a delicious level of danger, action, and key characters getting their just desserts. It's an exciting time to be an X-Men fan, as the line hasn't felt like this much was on the line since HOX and POX. Now, can Wolverine seal the deal, or will the X-Men forever be stuck fighting the future? Read Full Review

Just like x lives is and has been this is and has been perfect. I continue to be absolutely blown away by this entire story! Benjamin Percy knows wolverine he knows how to write a tremendous wolverine story and as someone who has been reading wolverine since the late '80's I just have to say thank you to the entire creative team. I can not wait I need the next issue!!

This is so much better than X Lives that you can just read this side and not be bothered although you'll be missing some great art from Cassara. Percy does his best here and although some key points have to be ignored to enjoy the whole setup. I mean the Banshee thing was off but then again all of Krakoa feels off right now. When Percy plays with Hickman's threads, it shines but when he plays with his threads from X-Force and Wolverine it just doesn't have the same sticking power. Vicentini's art has only gotten better or I grew to enjoy it even more than before. It just fits with the vibe.

Really exciting issue. As with the previous parts of the story, it just seems weakened by the fact that Moira isn't really acting like Moira. I guess that's what happens with a retcon but the about-face is just not plausible...especially the part with Banshee. Badass, but not plausibly in character for Moira.

This is so much better than X Lives. I can't believe Percy is writing both.

We get a bunch of reveals here, and it's solid. And that's all.

Everything gets pretty grim-dark as we race toward the finale here. I'm not sure I like just how thoroughly villainous Moira becomes, but I will say it's written well. This is a fast, fascinating read that doesn't ease up on the tension for a moment. The visuals continue to grow on me, too. The fast pace really suits Mr. Vicentini's knife-like kinetic style.

An improvement over the last issue. Logan nearly killing Arnab and the whole confrontation before it was good stuff. I also enjoyed Moira infiltrating Krakoa. Percy wrote the intensity well and Vicentini's art has been fitting more overall, in my opinion. Hopefully the larger connection between this and X Lives of Wolverine becomes clearer in the final issues of both books.

I'm not sold on Moira becoming a villain. Especially with a sudden twist like this.

Moira's hard heel turn here felt almost too quick, especially relating to the moment with Banshee. I understand her motivations for being pissed at the mutants, and even wanting to ruin them, but the degree of irrationality she's acting with is contradicting a lot of the prior character work in the Hickman era. She's been portrayed as very meticulous and slow to act due to the course of all her lives and here she's ranting like a 90s X-Men villain. It's a bit jarring to see THIS MUCH of a change of heart in just 4 issues. The Wolverine related scenes are really solid and I'm still appreciative of the book's forward momentum, but this issue felt like it got away from Percy a bit.

Banshee Skinsuit Moira deserves to go down in X-Men "worst moments" history with Austin's exploding communion wafers and Professor X's unspoken love for Jean.

Any interest I had left in Moira is now gone. Now she's just another uninteresting villain.
