Yeah the art is great but the story now is terrible imo, this Ojo character is dumb too for a Batman comic

I loved the first series especially on a reread without the unacceptable delays the series had. This first issue for the latest installment is good enough but so far hasn't presented an interesting plot. That said, I still really like the world and characters from the original series so I'm glad to revisit them and see what's next.

Though the whole golden age reminiscent kryptonite beats felt a bit much and some lines from Damien felt off, this is the best story we've got for Jon since he's been aged up and I really hope this adds some momentum for Jon to evolve in an interesting direction. Would love a Damien and Jon team up to rescue young Jon from Earth 3.

As an anime fan, I like the design and idea of Ojo but along with everything else in this run, we don't get enough of her or any real substance to make us care. Agree this run is a huge disappointment.
