Absurdity aside, this issue reminds readers that Deadpool got to where he is through skill and intellect and Cable knows it. Which makes Wade more dangerous than he's given credit for. Read Full Review

Hopefully Duggan and company explore even more of the despicable going forward. With so many Deadpool Vs. comics out there, Despicable Deadpool is proving that just pairing him with Cable is always the best course to take. Read Full Review

Really well done by Duggan. Dark and ridiculous at the same time. Koblish's style is a nice fit for this story.

Great issue. Deadpool had the upper hand in the last issue but after Cable's one phone call from jail, Cable goes on the offensive and kicks some ass. Lots of blood and even more laughs.

Cable barely has time to prepare for Deadpool's arrival when he's stuck in TVA custody, but he still manages to gain the upper hand. This is a beautifully-paced issue with a nicely twisty plot. There's a lot of violence, a little dark humor, and plenty of fascinating questions about where we go next. Scott Koblish's art complements the tone of the script perfectly, and the whole package is an ideal read for folks who are ready for a near-nihilist Deadpool.

I picked this up because Deadpool's part in "Secret Empire" was interesting, and I was fascinated by the new direction the book is taking. I kind of liked Deadpool with a heart from the last few years (see #20 for the best example), but, it turns out this is a pretty fun issue. I like the frame as Cable talks with his captor as Deadpool approaches, and the fight at the end is certainly interesting. Duggan and Koblish do good Deadpool, and I think I'm gonna stay on with this to see where it goes.

Much like the first Legacy issue, this issue is filled mostly with action. Deadpool goes on a killing spree with Cable's mechanical arm attached. If you just want to see Deadpool back to his murderous and destructive ways then you are in luck. There is very little character to Wade however so that is about all you get. He has been reduced to the one goal of getting to Cable and cuts his way through everyone to get there. There is a fun moment that calls back to the Walt Simonson Judge Dredd analog the Peace Keeper who is part of a time police force that has imprisoned Cable for being Stryfe. It is a fun return to a small moment in Thor history, so it helped me stomach an issue I struggled to find a reason to connect with. The art has a feel ing of the 1990's extreme look where everything is exaggerated. The large muscles and gratuitous violence is brought front and center with solid colors to make it stand out. It worked for me when thinking of this as a return to the start for the characters. I am usually someone who wants his characters to continue to grow and change so it is not my taste, but I think there are some who will enjoy the series. more
