This issue marks a promising start for Deadpool's latest mini-series. While Seeley spends too much time setting up the reluctant team-up between the two title characters, he does show a firm grasp on both their voices and the unusual interplay they share. Deadpool Vs. Thanos may seem like a joke of a book, but its the funniest joke you'll read in a while. Tim Seeley really delivers a good script and hell have you laughing from cover to cover. It's still easy to see why the Merc with a Mouth became such a hit, but he's overexposed and he's become a thinner version of himself over the years. This one took a little while to get started for me. It seems that nobody is capable of dying because Death has gone missing. Since Thanos and Deadpool are in love with death they decide to find her and bring her back. It is a lighthearted tale like others have said and it does have some good humor to it. I am hoping that it really gets going in later installments.

It's kinda confusing. But it makes sense but it doesn't. But at the end who cares. It's Thanos and Deadpool trying to bring back death to the marvel universe. Both are true to the core with the mannerism and art. Bondoc does a good job in bringing a cheeky art style to a lighthearted action packed book. The writing though took a little bit too long to kick off everything. Hopefully it picks up next issue.

Tim Seeley is a good match for Deadpool, he's got that dark humour down. I like the setup so far and the fact that this is pre Marvel Now Deadpool.
