Yeah. I wasn’t thrilled about them making Mondo strip nekked for no apparent reason other than just because.

The artworks starts out kind of janky (see Rocksteady's arm on page 1) but finds its groove after Rocksteady is knocked out and begins emitting a distress signal... That makes me about as confused as Donnie is with his emotional motivations, except his confusion is compelling. The art in story find its groove and shines in the character-driven moments between Harold and Donnie.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Macroseries #1
TMNT returns to its roots with new spotlights on individual Turtles, but this time they're extra-large! Donatello understands that more is at stake than his brothers realize. In order to prepare for the coming conflict, Don will aim to repair his relationship with his mentor Harold... and his malicious robotic counterpart Metalhead!

Olympian is a cool mutation we haven't seen before. I don't care for the ending, the Earth Protection Force just seems to give up after Olympian fails. Be sure to flip past the ads at the end for the epilogue.
TMNT: Bebop & Rocksteady Hit the Road #5
Bebop and Rocksteady's road trip reaches its crazed conclusion as old enemies from their trip catch up and a brand new unbeatable foe stands between them and their home!

We give the new character intros a rest, finally. I enjoyed their hijinx over the intercom.
TMNT: Bebop & Rocksteady Hit the Road #4
Bebop and Rocksteady's trail of destruction has got them a lot of attention... including from the government who's sending an army to stop them!

Savanti appears in this issue to add extra-dimensional hkjinx to the mix and give Bebop a cool robot x-ray arm.
TMNT: Bebop & Rocksteady Hit the Road #3
Time-travelling menace Savanti Romero returns to enlist Bebop and Rocksteady again... but he's brought a whole heap of trouble back with him from the 79th dimension!

Things get real cartoony. At one moment, Mondo rips off his clothes for reasons unknown... We saw his camouflage functioning last issue just fine without calling attention to undressing, so I guess he was indeed naked in those panels... but he doesn't even camouflage in this issue after getting naked, it serves no purpose other than a hilariously creepy, clunky comic book moment. Seriously, he's more

Yeah, Stray Dogs was a real surprise. I wasn’t prepared for that story. Really hit home. HARD!!!! If you enjoyed Stray Dogs you might enjoy FERAL. I’m not exaggerating when I say that it’s is consistently good.
The artwork is getting a bit simpler than the first issue. It's fun to see Bebop and Rocksteady suck at regular jobs and be unable to defend themselves for once, but I'm not a big fan of having a new foil introduced in each issue.
TMNT: Bebop & Rocksteady Hit the Road #2
When Bebop and Rocksteady run into a major roadblock, they're forced to do the unimaginable-get real jobs!
I'm kind of impressed with how much Ben Bates can get on a page and still make it read clearly. I hope this isn't the last we'll see of Wingnut and Screwloose.
TMNT: Bebop & Rocksteady Hit the Road #1
Everyone's favorite mutated masters of mayhem, Bebop and Rocksteady, are road tripping back to NYC! But before they can get started on their journey across America, they run into a crazy old enemy who's bent on derailing their trip before it can begin!

What a lovely send off to this spinoff series. I'm not sure if the art is true watercolor, but it has that feel and it's perfect for the Astral Plane.
I can't help myself, I have to point out that it's not capers and calamari on the pizza at the end, as Mikey says, it's clearly pepperoni. Never lie to me about food!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Universe #25
Leonardo tests his fledgling abilities on the astral plane only to find himself dangerously outmatched when he comes face to face with the villainous Kitsune!

Maybe this is better if you already know who Agatha Harkness is, I did not enjoy the stretched out banter and light show personally. At least the dynamic between Wanda and Chthon is kind of interesting.
Sorcerer Supreme #2
WHO IS THE TRUE SORCERER SUPREME? Earth's radical new magical authority defied the Vishanti to seize the title of Sorcerer Supreme. But the Vishanti won't take the insult lying down. It's SORCERER SUPREME vs. SORCERER SUPREME as the upstart challenges the Vishanti's anointed champion! But with the Vishanti distracted by the battle over Earth, what ...
The layout and art are quite nice. I absolutely love Wanda's new design, both in her uniform and in her civvies. Repurposing the Cloak of Levitation as a skirt is inspired. I can't say the same for the plot. Unless you enjoy magical conference meetings with obscure support characters?
Sorcerer Supreme #1
THE SORCERER SUPREME IS DEAD. LONG LIVE THE SORCERER SUPREME. In the aftermath of ONE WORLD UNDER DOOM, a new power rises. One willing to defy tradition, break every rule and chart a bold, new path. Will this rogue Sorcerer Supreme bring magic in the Marvel Universe to new heights or leave it in ruin?
Dave Wachter does good battle scenes. April says she likes to get out in front of things, so I'm going to trust that she has a reason behind her actions so far.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #86
"Battle Lines," Part 1 of 3! The maniacal Bishop has his eyes set on destroying the Utroms and the Triceratons once and for all. The Turtles will have to use all of their resources to stop him... but new divisions between the brothers threaten to ruin the plan before it begins!
The start of a pivotal new story arc!
Turning the Foot headquarters into a daycare is pretty funny. I like the expressions of Leatherhead but he's pretty smart, I feel like he'd pick up on an illusion pretty quick.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #85
Leatherhead returns to New York, and this time, he's got one goal in mind-the destruction of the Turtles!

After a long hiatus, I'm jumping back into the series mid-story arc, but I'm not feeling lost. The recap and two pages of expositional dialogue between April and Stockman helped me get my bearings. The issue works pretty well on its own and as an intro to Manmoth. My time away from the series has given me a new appreciation for how naturally the action scene flows here. Donny actually took a back more
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #83
"Kingdom of Rats," Part 3. In an effort to thwart the Rat King, the TMNT travel to distant Siberia to try and enlist the help of his brother, Manmoth. The Turtles soon find that his welcome is less than warm in their new surroundings!
I get the desire to get Mikey and Mondo together, but Donnie would have made a lot more sense as the tech savvy friend for Mondo to take on this mission
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Universe #23
Everyone's favorite party mutants, Michelangelo and Mondo Gecko, hit the town on a quest to help their friend Mutagen Man. Little do they know they are walking into the hands of a deadly enemy!
My copy of this issue is lonnnnnng since buried in a stack of comic book boxes. I’d like to give some of these comics a flip through to see if they’re worth keeping. But I wouldn’t even have a clue as to which boxes to look through. 😅
A moment of PTSD from Prince Robot has me concerned about his son's safety, but not in a villainous way. Marko and Alana find a new interest to share, which builds the you up a bit just to get your heart shattered to pieces all over again.
Saga #51
Tabloid reporters Upsher and Doff have uncovered the scoop of the century, but what will it cost Hazel and her family?
If you want to make the person sitting next to you on the train really uncomfortable, read Saga in public, if not maybe wait till you get home. Thankfully i've learned that lesson many times over.
This was a surprisingly low-key for a #50th issue, but I think Hazel made that point in the book, important things rarely happen on an anniversary or some specific date. The big two should heed t

Fifty issues in "Saga" continues to be excellent. Remarkably consistent, even after 6 years, issue #50 shows why Vaughan and Staples never slip--the issue is filled with character moments, is funny, is beautiful looking. Not a lot happens in terms of propelling the grand plot--but somehow, issues that would seem like filler on other books are "only" 8.5s for "Saga."

I'm jumping back in after a hiatus and am immediately rewarded in the opening pages with a wholesome, NSFW moment of intimacy. Kids... don't read this... but if you do, at least you'll be exposed to a vision of a healthy sexual relationship.
No effort is made to turn the issue into a special tent pole moment in the series, and I don't mind that at all.

Story was fun but I did not like the art (especially for Mondo).
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Universe #23
Everyone's favorite party mutants, Michelangelo and Mondo Gecko, hit the town on a quest to help their friend Mutagen Man. Little do they know they are walking into the hands of a deadly enemy!
this was an alright issue.
Michelangelo is only a supporting character. (no surprise there)
i'm really happy this series will be ending soon.
the art is a bit of a mix for me.
while i love the way Pablo Tunica draws hands and the figures
some of the faces he draws are very ugly.
there were some nice moments in this comic
overall it just wasn't a very
