    Dark Reign The List X-Men #1 was much better than the standard X-Men story by Fraction that we have been getting on Uncanny X-Men. I would buy more issues of Uncanny X-Men if they were more like this issue. Read Full Review

    That all makes Dark Reign: The List - X-Men a hard one to give a solid recommendation. It's a perfectly fine issue of X-Men goodness, but readers buying into The List as it's being marketed might not find enough of a connection to "Dark Reign" or the Cabal.     As with the previous Dark Reign--The List specials, I get the feeling that this issue will be appreciated most by regular followers of the headline characters, rather than by "Dark Reign" enthusiasts in general, as it seems that the series of one-shots isn't going to have quite as coherent an inter-connected storyline as I expected. Still, X-Men fans and lovers of Alan Davis's artwork probably won't be disappointed. Read Full Review

    While the latest List one-shot doesn't really do a whole lot with the concept of the Dark Reign series, it excels as a one and done “X” comic. So, in short, it's easy to recommend to X-Men/Namor fans, but not so easy to recommend if you're just looking for something with strong Dark Reign ties. Read Full Review
