Titan was explained. Titan was revealed at the end of the first arc of Hulk as the Betty in Bruce's head. Bruce always knew about Titan. Titan caused El Paso to happen. TItan is the impetus for the entire run. Titan is why Bruce made Hulk into a spaceship and tried to leave forever. This was explained in this very crossover.

But Why Tho? - Collier "CJ" Jennings
Jun 08, 2022Thor #26 serves as the penultimate chapter in the "Banner of War" storyline, as the God of Thunder and the Hulk undergo surprising transformations. The conclusion will find out just who the stronger of the two is, and no doubt will spark fanboy debates for years to come. And Thor has another team-up on the horizon, as the next issue will find him teaming up with Venom, which marks Cates' return to scripting the Lethal Protector. Read Full Review

Jun 08, 2022Bits and PiecesThor #26 clarifies the intent of the Banner Of War mini-event by making it as plain as possible - Who would win a fight? Thor or Hulk. There's no deep pathos or emotional depth. This arc is strictly designed to answer that one question and do it with as many fun, entertaining, wow moments as possible. The art's excellent, and the last-page development could lead to interesting developments in the future. Read Full Review

Jun 09, 2022Thor #26 continued the epicness Hulk vs Thor: Banner of War has been known for the entire time of this crossover event. Martin Coccolo and Matt Wilson absolutely knocked it out of the park with incredible artwork putting over how this is truly a story that's all about a clash of two of the most powerful Marvel characters. How things escalate to a higher level has me even more excited to find out how Donny Cates, Martin Coccolo, and Matt Wilson plan to end this event. Read Full Review

It's fun. Just... fun. And that's all I want to be.

It's a gorgeous, spectacular, over-the-top fight. This delivers in just the way I feared the crossover wouldn't, back at the alpha. Though it's very good, I don't think it's quite great. This script is a perfect vehicle for setting up cool combat visuals. And it's admirably laconic. This might have less narration than any other issue of Donny Cates's Thor, and it's all the better for it. But a new dollop of Hulk plot development is the sour note in this frenetic metal solo of a comic. The whole "Titan" thing, oy. It just gets dumber and dumber. The Thor-Hulk fight is kinda dumb, too, but it's the *good* kind of dumb. It's stupid and silly and over the top. And because the creators (the artist particularly) embrace it with total sin more

This is just mindless entertaining fun that may break the rules. Maybe thats true. But the art makes up for it.

I guess this means Odin can change who is allowed to lift the hammer now?

Another fun installment for Banner of War as we head into the final issue. A good chunk of this storyline has been a lot of nonsensical craziness, but it's been a lot of fun as well. After Thor was exposed to a boatload, and then some, of gamma radiation in the last issue, things get even more insane here as Hulk is able to wield Mjolnir. This crossover is just crazy fun.

I think if I was just reading it as a Thor fan, I would be rather underwhelmed. But it's not the case! Hm, I'll definitely come back to this series one day.

It's got some cool visuals, some absurd fun and a big fight. Other than that, not much else.

This is the weakest issue I've read so far in the Banner of War crossover. I really liked the idea of a Thor-Hulked version and how was it introduced in the previous issue but, this was not a good issue, neither battles scene were so exciting. Almost no dialogue at all, nor a clear story, this was really just punching (and in previous issues was done much better). Another weak point in this issue is how Hulk is drawn. It really reminds me the one present in the movies, a version which I do not like at all for its "smart" look. I really hope that the last issue could be better, specially now that we also have a Hulk-Thored piloted by Banner and the All Father.

Rather underwhelming. Readers deserved a lot more - except the ones who loooove 2,000-page slugfests, cuz it totally reads like one. The art is nice, though. :P (Bytheway, the whole "Space Ship Hulk" thing still fails to grab me. Maybe a 2 or 3 year Hulk-Hiatus is in order to give poor Bruce some R&R time after everything he had to go through in the "Immortal Hulk" run?)

He destroyed the Bifrost by... holding on to the ground REALLY hard?! Sweet Christmas, this is bad. Full disclosure: I'm not following Thor. I read this as a Hulk tie-in, and will be reviewing it as such. The art is not great. There are almost no backgrounds, the figure work is sketchy, and Martin Coccolo's usual facility with facial expressions is noticeably absent. He appears to be doing an impersonation of Ryan Ottley, which is hilarious because Ottley is off the Hulk book now. The coloring is dull and muddy, Matt Wilson is doing nobody any favors. Both artists have done much better work. The book looks rushed, and incomplete. It reminds me of an early 90's issue of Brigade. Speaking of terrible stories... yeah, Donny's back to more
