This was just eh. Like, this didn't make Torment any better, or Death Spiral any better. And his motivation to go after Spider-Man felt more lazy. Like all of this felt just... eh.

It's... eh. Everything starts to feel rushed and with one issue left, I can't see this ending well.

Reading this made me feel like 12 years old again, reading monthly Spidey comics (here in Finland), starting from BND. So yeah, nostalgia goggles made me enjoy this very much.

Loved this. And it's funny that Snyder is making Bruce's backstory the question mark Joker usually has in Prime Earth. We don't know for sure was it accidental, or part of a bigger plan.

I would call this "perfectly fine". Nothing revolutionary still, but enjoyable enough.

Amazing issue. These kinds of breather issues are always nice to read and this one especially hits close for me. My life has generally been a mess lately too, even if it is going better, so reading Peter's thoughts and almost giving up is very relatable. But he doesn't. And that's what makes him my favorite super hero. Kelly did a wonderful job here.

Art was great and this didn't feel s hoehorned. Even if I wasn't a big fan of 8 Deaths, callback to it was great. It just worked. Everything here just works for me.

And while I will always love JRJR, I'm not sad to hear he is leaving ASM. New artists are always welcome, I mean look at Pepe Larraz! He is amazing. And I know few others who would be just as great on ASM.more

Yet another artist change, back to “regular” artist Valerio Schiti. There are some confusing panel transitions, but overall, it’s passable work.
The writing is becoming a problem for me though. The reveal of the villain was so predictable. Plus, the allegories to current political events are so in-your-face, it’s not really fun reading this anymore. When did comics stop being an escape from r eal life? Captain America in particular should emphasize idealism, not moral relativism.more

Yeah I wasn't a fan. It's not bad but feels rushed. All in all, it felt like Kelly wasn't as interested in this as others.

His script is fine, how Peter beats Carnage is great, but otherwise, whole event feels lackluster.

I was hoping for drama, conversations and tension and all I got was... not a lot.

And why do they insist on hinting FlashXMJ...

Snyder and Dragotta just keep cooking. Amazing stuff.

Holy... What an entrance from Scarecrow, it was genuinely insane, and I love everything about him so far. He's so cool.

Besides, this issue had one of the most shocking moments in the series so far, which turns everything on its head and also introduces The Robins (can't explain how excited I am, what an awesome idea this is). This arc is a big one; it feels like everything up to this p oint was leading to this. Ughhh, how am I supposed to wait another month now 😫. more

The perfect comic series continues to obliterate all competition. Slade Wilson, The Robins and Scarecrow. An insane death that turns the series on its head. No other comic on the stands comes close.
