With Cafu's art and Frank D'Armata's colors helping further the moody, bold storytelling, this is an issue that is absolutely excellent through and through. Read Full Review

Iron Man #6 effectively puts Tony Stark in a darker place, making this an exciting first issue in a story arc that has firmly established this is an Iron Man we have never seen before. Above all else, Iron Man is enduring something that feels incredibly important to his legacy and may change the character forever. It's also a story about a superhero being pushed to a limit we don't often see, which is at once exciting and frightening. Read Full Review

The character work is really strong and enjoyable, and that helps boost an already entertaining story. And I enjoy any comic that makes good use of Frog Man. Read Full Review

If you like Iron Man, you should have been reading this already, but if youre a War Machine fan you need to get into this series right now. Cantwell clearly has big plans for War Machine, and given the work he has already done on Iron Man, were looking at the potential of some character-defining work on here. Combine that with the always phenomenal artwork from CAFU and Frank DArmata and you have one of the best things being currently published by Marvel. Were 6 issues in, and its quality remains at an all-time high. Read Full Review

Anyone who thinks Christopher Cantwell hates Tony Stark, or is writing a sneak Hellcat book, is an idiot. So much for a character who's always had an ego having an ego. That's too far. The characterization for Tony here is on point. Maybe you should go read more Iron Man. Try Armor Wars and see how the ego compares. So much for a supporting cast. Since when do protagonists have foils? Personally, I think this is a sneak Frog Man comic. Some of you people have really stupid takes, and of those of you I'm aware of, I'm not surprised to see it. The art here is top-notch. CAFU is one of the best artists in comics right now. The only problem with this book is the pacing. It doesn't necessarily bother me while I'm reading this series. It's more o more

So... why the hate for this issue? This is a very strong issue.... the art is great and I liked Tony's characterization better here than I did in most of the previous issues. Unapologetic, efficient and hard headed(pun intended). Hes going to need to be to face the threat he faces. The art is gorgeous. This is a good issue folks.

I'm rather enjoying this run, and it would be good if Hellcat would stick around long term.

With a broken neck held together by his armor and his blood now half painkillers, Tony refuses to give up the hunt for Korvac. His whole supporting cast believes this is a bad idea, but decides to go along because he'll just get himself killed on his own if they abandon him. Some gorgeous storytelling touches, particularly the parallel themes drawn between Tony and Patsy's damage. But not a lot of plot development, and Korvac is proving to be a pretty dull antagonist.

Start of the second arc, and it's just as good as the first one. Loving how well the characters are written, and the plot continues to be very compelling.

It's not bad and the art is amazing! Well It's better than the previous one and Hellcat gets a good treatment but I fear Cantwell overcorrected with Tony Stark. At least it didn't work in some spots as intended. Mind you I enjoyed it, just small things that's all. Cafu and D'armata are banging on all cylinders!!

This is walking the fine line between who cares and somewhat interesting. I do like Tony here although I thought the Man or Machine interior dialogue was much more interesting than this I don't care what you think about me thing has got going. Still has enough in it for me to read the next issue.

Cantwell wrote this book so he could write Hellcat. Iron Man is the supporting character in his own story. At least the art is nice.

The arts really good but the story just feels like more of the same old. This series overall has not been very exciting. Its a shame.

I've had a issue with Tony's characterisation this run and this issue highlighted it. Hellcat's well written which is to be expected since she's Cantwell's fav, but I don't know why Tony comes out looking the worst in his own title.

I think I would like this comic a lot more if it was just Cafu's art without Cantwell's stupid dialogue. Why does Marvel hate Tony Stark so much and why do they always give the Iron Man book to writers who clearly hate the character? That said, I liked seing all of these vintage IM villains and I'm really glad War Machine is back. I can't stress enough how good the artwork is.
