What a ridiculously nothing issue! And please, don’t say it’s a “cool down issue” because nothing has happened in this book to cool down from in at least 6 months!

Everything they have fought for, everything they believe in, will be tested in this pulse-pounding, oversized final issue. There are no more retreats, no more second chances.
Like most Tom King books, the more that gets explained, the more you realize he has no idea how to write these characters
Wonder Woman #34
Diana and Steve’s bittersweet reunion is cut short by the Matriarch and her plans to destroy Wonder Woman. Can Trinity save her parents and the world? You won’t want to miss the riveting conclusion of “The Wonder War” Act One!
No story worth reading here
Green Lantern #35
The glitz! The glamor! The giant alien that wants Odyssey dead! Wait…what? In order to ensure that her burgeoning career keeps…you know…burgeoning, Odyssey the Time Bandit is tasked with doing the meeting circuit. Accompanied by Kyle, she has to drive around to various coffees, lunches, and dinners to hobnob with the decision- makers. But where the...
Wordy beyond wordy; doesn't get the character of Deadman a little bit (this should be a Vertigo/Black Label book, not a regular in-continuity book) and basically boils down to Ice Cream Man lite in a thin Deadman skin -if you don't mind that, have at it. Personally, I wanted more of a Deadman book. Martin Morazzo's art gets worse for me the more I see it - it is unique among other art (except for more
Deadman #1
The Deadman enters the Next Level! In the millisecond following his murder, the soul of shifty circus aerialist Boston Brand was commandeered by the goddess Rama Kushna, who deputized the erstwhile performer’s ghost with a sacred spectral assignment: the Custodian of All Souls! Now Brand floats—begrudgingly—through this bluegreen purgatory we call ...
A 10 to counter Masked Marvel's inevitable review bombing.
Amazing Spider-Man #29
BEST FR(ENEMIES)! Spider-Man's best friend's life shattered by a terrible accident - and Peter Parker is to blame! Is there a new villain on Spidey's block?
Gabe, less people visit the site because of people like you and your tiresome negativity. Do you even like comics? To me it appears you glean zero joy for any of it. Also - using TDS to frame your insult. You are a writer, are you not? How brutally uninspired. You a MAGA Republican? Because if so, the mystery of your negativity has now been solved.
Can't help but notice that the dead site that Gabe used to write reviews for is no longer getting counted for critic reviews. Something about throwing stones in glass houses and all that.
Trying to shove a round Nightwing into a square story is not working - this book is worse than bad, it's inconsequential and boring.
Nightwing #138
There have long been legends of something bestial lurking in the forests just outside of Blüdhaven. Some say it’s demonic. Others think it’s extraterrestrial. When a trail of violent incidents seems to connect this creature to the city’s new super-highway, Nightwing resolves to get to the bottom of it. What he uncovers will bring one of his Titans ...
Wonder Woman #33
After infiltrating the Matriarch’s prison, Wonder Woman and Trinity rally their allies for the battle to come. Will their army be enough to stop the unstoppable? SPIDER-MAN MEETS HIS MAKER! Time is ticking on the Ultimate Universe!!! In this penultimate issue of the most climactic super-hero event EVER(!)…heroes will fall, villains will rise and your favorite characters will be forced to make difficult sacrifices!
Absolute Martian Manhunter #11
As relationships and reality crumble around him, John comes face-to-face with the Agency’s mysterious boss!
Fraction obviously didn’t read any of Damian character development in the pat 3+ years
Batman #9
After making a sinister deal with Mayor Isley, Commissioner Vandal Savage initiates “Operation Peregrine,” sending his brutal TUCO squads across Gotham City on a singular mission: Bring in the Batman! Batman and his team must destroy and abandon their hideouts, safeguard their data, and escape the long arm of the law… but not everyone will make it ...
Another lame and boring Poem - it didn't work the first time, and now it's bad and redundant. Deniz Camp is the most overrated writer of the last 20 years!
Ultimates #23
THOR AND THE FLAMES OF ASGARD! Thor and Sif join the war on the Maker in this grand epic! Thor's deal with Surtur comes to fruition, and each page is a masterpiece in its own right!
Seems like he lives rent free in your head too you goober.

Will Tony’s new HELLBUSTER ARMOR and the spear of the ONE ABOVE ALL be enough to keep him alive against the INFERNAL HULK? Or will he be corrupted...
Underrated. The thinking man's Batman. No wonder all the dullards hate it so.
Batman #1
"I AM GOTHAM" chapter one
No one has ever stopped the Caped Crusader. Not The Joker. Not Two-Face. Not even the entire Justice League. But how does Batman confront a new hero who wants to save the city from the Dark Knight?
CAN'T MISS: Superstar artist David Finch returns to Batman alongside writer Tom King for this five-part storyline.
Cheers Hex. The terminology GH has used tells me everything I assumed about him is correct. Very revealing indeed.
This series is so engaging, I can't wait to see how it unfolds

He’s lost his money, his resources, his family, and his best friend and moral compass. What happens when the world’s most terrifying assassin has nothing left to lose?
Dig the direction. Waid does an excellent Luthor, derp derp.
Justice League Unlimited #18
Unlimited? Definitely. United? Hardly. The strongest voices in the Justice League have begun granting amnesty—and membership—to super-villains, and mutiny is brewing! Plus: Guy Gardner leads a mission that will have startling consequences for the entire galaxy!
Prime Derp rules Derp.
Superman #37
Superboy Prime gets a new real-life job with a new secret identity while he protects Metropolis from dangerous threats! But there is a whole DC Comics universe out there for him to explore, and the fanboy in him wants to see it all…Too bad there are heroes who don’t trust him and think he should be locked up!
Nightwing is my favorite character - I don't know who the guy is in this book!
Nightwing #136
A new era begins here for Blüdhaven and its hero. The city’s new super-highway was meant to be its lifeline but has instead become a hotbed of strange and violent incidents. Nightwing’s investigation into this haunted road drives him toward a tragedy from which he may never recover—and sends him looking for answers in Blüdhaven’s tragic past. Super...
