You Don't Read Comics - Brandon Masters
Sep 19, 2018While Soule is probably far off from the always-fated showdown between the Kingpin and Daredevil, issues like these show that DD doesn't need to always be fighting epic waves of Hand ninja or the machinations of Wilson Fisk. Sometimes, all it needs is some family drama. Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - Brandon Lawrence
Sep 14, 2018The icing on the cake in this book comes at the end when a character from recent Marvel history enters the stage. None other than Parker Robbins a.k.a The Hood. All the play he got from a very formative time in my Marvel Comics reading made him the perfect choice to get me excited about the direction this weird story is going. So bring it on, Soule. Let's see what you got. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez
Sep 17, 2018Daredevil #608 was another excellent issue in what continues to be one of Marvel's best comic books. Charles Soule does a great job presenting Mike Murdock as an unexpected wildcard for the ongoing war between Daredevil and Mayor Wilson Fisk. Matt Murdock's own actions put into question how exactly this story arc will affect the long-term story Soule is developing. With those questions in the air there is a lot to be excited for with what will happen next in the pages of Daredevil. Read Full Review

The saga of Mike Murdock winds to a close - but not an end. This issue delivers great art, sound writing, and just enough character insight to make a completely crazy decision sound reasonable. I can see Matt's choice here causing no end of problems in the future.

So... Mike Murdock is a thing now. Well, this was a fun little arc made great by Noto's beautiful art.

Mike makes for a weird but intriguing villain.

Though a weird and unnecessary arc, Daredevil 608 featured some of the series' best art by Phil Noto, and this issues' conclusion was satisfying as Mike accepts a job from good ol Parker Robbins aka the Hood!

its like they were trying to build up Matt and show what a good guy he is.. but really it just comes off as he's the stupidest hero since Burnside Batgirl. the art was really good in some panels.. and ok in others. not quite great enough to earn extra points. from a base of 6, this gets a rating of: 5. -1 because: it was confusing.
