Plus Cho adds an element that's undeniably interesting due to the tech savvy tricks up his sleeve. The strong writing on the villains has dropped, but how can you deny the monster mayhem? Badly-timed dissension between the Hulk and the mutants allows Weapon X to finish off its deadly Hulkverine project. Here's a sentence I never thought I'd write: I wish this issue were drawn by Greg Land. Greg Pak's script is action-movie dumb in a way that would only really work with scrupulously finished big-budget visuals. Marc Borstel and Ibraim Roberson are clearly trying hard, but they're also clearly not succeeding. The art for this story needs to make you go "holy ˜ ˜ ˜ ˜ !" not "oh, bless them, they're doing their best."
