    Weird Science - Jim Werner

This book may not be for everyone. Some people might not like the fact that the story isn't getting any clearer and more questions keep getting raised. Some people might not like the art style. Some might hate the long-form story that doesn't have natural arcs. I am definitely not one of those people. I love everything that I just mentioned. My only complaint is that one issue a month isn't enough for me. I want more. Read Full Review

I cannot tell you that you will love this book, but I can tell you that I love this book. I know that lot of this story hinges on the ending delivering. I will continue to read it and appreciate these few final issues and hope we get something concrete to what is really going on, but either way I have enjoyed the ride. It isn't often creators get to end a book on a certain number with a complete enclosed story, so I tip my hat to Lemire, Smallwood, and Bellaire that they will be able to do that with this series. Marc Spector, Jake Lockley, Steven Grant, whoever you are, I hope you find peace at the end of this tale because it has been quite a fun journey losing my mind with Moon Knight. Read Full Review

Overall, Moon Knight #11 sets up an epic battle with Khonshu, but, just like the last 10 issues, that's all it really does. Read Full Review

Absolutely beautiful book that keeps the mystery going while also exploring Marc's background and expanding on it in a meaningful way.

If you haven't heard the news, Lemire, Smallwood, and Bellaire are wrapping everything up and leaving after issue #14. Part of me wants this run to keep going forever, but the other part is excited to finally have some closure. Either way, we should all be glad that we got to enjoy such an amazing Moon Knight story. "DEATH AND BIRTH: PART 2 OF 5." Things are ramping up towards an epic conclusion. A LOT happens in this issue. We get small character moments, like the funeral, and then we get mind-melting awesomeness like INSECT JOUSTING. About that funeral scene, though: while the previous arc showed Marc transitioning between different personalities by changing up art styles, Greg Smallwood is able to do the same thing here with just a subtl more

Marc's history gets as far as meeting Frenchie, and in the Overvoid, Marc is inches away from getting ritually sacrificed. This issue is a somewhat quiet interlude in an altogether epic story, but it is completely non-disappointing. Mr. Lemire is laying down a definitive new origin for Moon Knight, and it's a pleasure to see it unfold. Mr. Smallwood's art continues to set the gold standard for good "sketchy" work.

The weird continues. So does the awesome Greg Smallwood art. This title is mystifying, and I don't know when or if Jeff Lemire is going to give us real answers, but it's a strange trip I look forward to reading each month.

Graphic Policy - Joe Ryan says, "I know that lot of this story hinges on the ending delivering." But TOO much hinges on it for a year of issues. Even the best ending and bow wrapping might not be enough if one can't appreciate the seeming tweaking of MK's canon each month with this surreal reality zig zagging. Torn between a 7 and 7.5 and the current high average of 9.5 swayed my rating.

This current run of Moon Knight sometimes walks a fine line between being really clever and a bit messy. More often than not it falls the right side of that line, but this issue was just a bit messy.
