Mar 29, 2009Each issue of "Secret Warriors" has been a step up from the previous with Hickman, Bendis, and Caselli upping the ante with each issue. This issue includes a surprise or two that readers won't see coming, but should have. Intriguing characters, a fantastic concept, enthralling action, and the odd "Oh my god!" moment -" "Secret Warriors" has it all. Read Full Review

Apr 01, 2009And finally, it'd be impossible for me to review an issue of this series without gushing over the work of Stefano Caselli. Caselli's approach to action is lush and energetic enough to recall the best of Ed McGuinness, and his knack for capturing the emotional subtleties of a scene gives him a strength McGuinness lacks. He's without a doubt a superstar in the making, and I can only hope he sticks around this title for a good long time before he's moved to one of Marvel's flagship books. Read Full Review

Apr 04, 2009There are some minor problems - I'd like to learn more about the individual Secret Warriors, who are still largely unknown - but there's time for that in the issues ahead. Read Full Review

Mar 31, 2009This is good stuff right here. If it keeps going this way, Hickman may just achieve his goal of creating the definitive Nick Fury story. If I have any complaint, it's that the name of the series should seriously be Nick Fury: Agent of Nothing. When he's called that this issue, it just reverberates. Can we get that fixed somehow? Apr 06, 2009There's only three more issues on Secret Warriors' complimentary "Wow Me" trial period, but I'm going to need to see a lot more out of this book than the Dum Dum Dugan cameo at the end to keep me for the long haul. Read Full Review
