Awesome issue. I love it when Wade's intelligence and humor are on full display. He makes a fool of Cap.
I also love it when a "critic" gives an action comic a low rating because "it's standard action." What does that even mean? How do these fucktards honestly get recognized as critics?

Deadpool finally takes out his frustrations on Steve Rodgers and pleading his case for acting the way he did during Secret Empire. It is not as impacting as his encounter with evil Steve, but is satisfying. He makes a pretty good argument that he is used as a morally grey member who does the jobs that others will not. He also held Steve in high regards for placing him on the Avengers so had no reason to question him. Wade also shows that he doesn't really care that people are treating him like a criminal, just that he wants to set a couple rights and needs Steve to make that happen. Duggan has been surprisingly emotional with Deadpool. It has me caring about the character way more than I was expecting. I really enjoyed the art within the is
sue and for the cover. It all has a very classic feel from the 80's era with the layouts and paneling that I liked. There was not a lot of wasted space just to decompress the book and get through it quicker. The team has also been doing a great job of delivering dialog while the panels show action. It gives you plenty to visit in the issue. This is a title that has been worth reading. more

Deadpool vs. Cap! It starts as a standard "here's some punching so this looks more active than a text spat" fight, but at the halfway mark it quantum-leaps forward. Wade bamboozles Steve repeatedly and effectively while scoring some excellent philosophical points. I think that's the only real drawback: Steve plays the chump a bit too thoroughly. Sure, his confidence is rattled after Secret Empire, but in order to put Wade on top, this script forces him into total rookie mistakes. Setting that point aside, the issue is pretty superb. The script is fast but not shallow, the art is bold but detailed, and Wade's character development is both thoughtful and clever.

Cap's characterization is a bit off, but otherwise, very enjoyable comic. Art isn't the best there is, but it is okay.
