Why must you make me root for wade like this. It's a testament to Duggan's work to elevate this horrible clown to something more while dragging him down to the abyss. I had to stop after reading the last few pages and just think about it. Lolli again nails the mood like he did back in issue 20.

Wade comes up with a creative dodge on his "kill Evan" assignment, but he still executes a lady, racking up more of that negative karma. This issue has a good plot, good pacing, and three concentrated Thoughtful Points where the author tried extra hard. It's an enthralling read, and yet it doesn't really stick with you. There's a hard ceiling on how much the art can do, too. Some troubling facial work on Kitty Pryde, and a rare rush job on the coloring.

After leaving last issue with a bit of an emotional hook I was a little disappointed in how the issue felt anticlimactically solved with a simple MacGuffin. There was even the time taken to point out the flaw in Deadpool's actions which felt off. Still the end of the issue left me feeling emotional. It was nice to see Duggan call back to Uncanny X-Force history. Seeing Deadpool's next interaction should be interesting with the teaser we are given. So this did have its moments. While some character interpretations were not my favorite, it is a very nice looking issue. I also love the cover. This was not one of the most satisfying chapters for me, but it was not what I would consider bad either.
