Whichever you direction you look, this miniseries continues to deliver every sort of fun one could hope for from a superhero event with laughs and shouts aplenty. Read Full Review

Overall, Infinity Countdown #4 moves the plot with a great story and descriptive dialogue. Using comedy in one storyline and the seriousness of the others makes this title so exhilarating with all the twists and turns. Read Full Review

As in many mini-series, especially those leading up to a larger event, there is a lull in the center of the story where pieces must be moved into place, stories must be sorted, plots must be plotted. Infinity Countdown #4 is that spot. I'm looking forward to seeing where we go from here. Read Full Review

Infinity Countdown #4 does a good job of continuing the story of the Guardians attempts to protect the Infinity Stones. It has some questionable art but still does the job. Read Full Review

Something isn't clicking here for me. Maybe it's the story. Maybe it's the art. The combination, absolutely. There's glimpses of excellence but that's mired in choices that don't quite work. The fact we know more is to come this summer makes all of this feel even more like a prequel book, an early chapter that is dragging things out a bit too much. Read Full Review

I think this issue left me more frustrated than anything for this event. I was excited when the last issue ended. It was funny and interesting and left me thinking we would be getting answers. I leave this issue feeling the total opposite way. Read Full Review

It's always disappointing to see when a series, already designed as both build-up and lead-in for an upcoming event, has to slow down and noticeably move pieces around the board in preparation. Read Full Review

    Bleeding Cool - Joshua Davison

Infinity Countdown #4 brings the Guardians story to a grinding halt while making you wonder why anyone likes these characters. The Warlock and Silver Surfer half is better in both story and art, but it doesn't make up for the waste of time the rest of the comic is. The mainline Infinity Countdown series has been underwhelming since #1, so this is a bad issue in an underperforming series. I can't recommend it. Give it a pass. Read Full Review
