Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze
Apr 22, 2014So does this issue of Injustice confirm that things will indeed get crazy from here? Yes it does and I would love to see just how the Green Lanterns would fair against a highly motivated Superman who would not tolerate their interference. Surely after that little revelation from Ganthet their welcome on Earth is all but gone. Tom Taylor is building up to something big, and while some could complain about how much happens within each issue, I say that enough happens to make you want to pick up the next issue. Jul 23, 2014Unfortunately, the book loses a bit of its charm without Redondo providing the art. Xermanico's work is perfectly fine, but not quite as sleek or cinematic. As much as I enjoy reading this comic, I would be perfectly willing to keep Injustice on a biweekly release schedule if it meant a more consistent visual presentation. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Jim Werner
Apr 22, 2014Injustice: Year Two #8 continues the buildup by visiting Oa and the Green Lantern Corps. The Guardians step up to the plate with a plan to end Superman's reign, but Hal Jordan is not on board. Bruno Redondo's art is as good as usual, but he doesn't get to show off his full talents. Jul 23, 2014Anytime you jump a significant time period between comics you're going to lose momentum and create a weird time pocket in which to wonder what the heck has everyone's been doing all these months. It's good to see Batman getting on his feet (if only just barely), but it's time for the showdown and it's been time for a while now. The tag for the next issue reads: "Absolute. Freaking. Carnage." Apr 24, 2014The most frustrating thing is that, to its credit, the issue is the first of several to progress the story. But that's also the problem. The pacing in the series has been off since Injustice: Year Two #1, and this doesn't do much to fix it.
