The various character dynamics made the war between Spider-Man and Green Goblin feel bigger. Spider-Man continues on excellent trajectory since the ending of the Clone Conspiracy. Osborn's master plan and revelations are devious and entertaining. After the way Norman's identity was treated back in Superior, I'm really glad to see Slott picking up that thread and using it to showcase more of Osborn's batshit insanity. Loved Mockingbird's part, Silver Sable's revelation was interesting and believable, and I can't wait for the inevitable Spidey vs Goblin showdown. Also Immonen should never leave this book.

This was the best issue of "Amazing" in quite a while. The opening pages establish a creepy atmosphere as Norman emerges prematurely from surgery, leaving him twisted and scarred. Seeing his face does a whole lot for the characterization of Norman, who seemed pretty nondescript in the first two parts of this arc. I like the interaction between Spidey and his amazing friends, Silver Sable and Mockingbird. The pace here seemed really tight, even though a whole lot doesn't happen in terms of plot advancement, if that makes any sense. And the Stuart Immonen art is just so above par. No offence to any artists who have been doing this book lately, but Immonen is in a different stratosphere. I can't wait for the next issue!

The Norman vs. Spidey saga is back in full force. Norman is so cool to see when he's much more calculating and focused. The art is great and the story was action packed and perfectly fine, but somehow Peter Parker funding a war just doesn't fully agree with me though, which is my only knock on the book and also just my opinion.

This issue was pretty dope, art was good too. But in all honesty Norman Osborn is still a phuckin creep imo. Now he has an ugly @$$ face to go with it. If I was Pete, I'd shove a stick of dynamite up his butthole for what he did to Gwen Stacy's butthole and pretend Uncle Ben never taught me better. Now he be banging vampire ladies and releasing wannabe joker gas all up on these fools. In all seriousness though, this issue held my attention unlike some previous story arcs in this volume that I can't even remember anymore.

A very simple and straight forward issue where we see the set up for the massive battle between Spidey and Osborne. I really love the art in this issue. While I'm not the biggest fan of this globe trotting Spidey and the worldwide setting I think this arc has been pretty entertaining!

The Stark-ification of Peter Parker is complete as he proves he literally has enough military hardware to take over a third-world country. Norman Osborn plays ball with his deranged nemesis by slipping into full-on Doctor Doom mode. This is a mad, juvenile, silly, stupid adventure that's granted a tiny shred of legitimacy by Stuart Immonen's superb art. Underneath the spectacle, though, Pete is acting ludicrously out-of-character. Why am I not disappointed? Because sometime in the near future, Pete will be hearing from the Spectacular Octopus, and the message is gonna be a horrifying "well done, Parker; I didn't think you had it in you."
