    Kurt Busiek is somehow making use from arguably the worst Avengers story ever aside of Avengers: the crossing, the infamous Avengers 200. In Avengers 200, Carol is raped and she gives birth to her rapist, who in the present is the Scarlet Centurion. Centurion and Carol fall in love and somehow it doesn't feel forced or disgusting or taboo. Really speaks to how good a writer Kurt Busiek is.
