On Comics Ground - Marcus Freeman
Jul 10, 2019The Avengers' enemies are gearing for an attack as the Avengers recover from War of The Realms. Black Panther and Captain America are weary of the next strike, but the rest of the heroes are happy to have some time off. The Avengers must continue to be weary of threats from this world and beyond. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - Jim Werner
Jul 10, 2019This was a nice issue to come out of the War of the Realms with. Part cool down, part setup and part character study, Jason Aaron is moving forward and I am looking forward to seeing what we get coming up. Read Full Review

Jul 10, 2019That's what makes this book so solid, its ability to bring these different pieces together for a coherent and enjoyable experience. Plus, any comic with all of the Avengers goofing off in a hot tub gets bonus points in my book. Read Full Review

AIPT - Christopher Franey
Jul 10, 2019Fun issue with some much deserved down time for the Avengers. Deep looks into the thoughts of the team members, lots of bonding, and some foreshadowing before we get into the next arc, "Challenge of the Ghost Riders." Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - Brandon Lawrence
Jul 14, 2019This comic shines in its laying out the insecurities of the characters along with the external threats that are looming. At the same time, the dialogue is often light and hilarious. The tension between the two reminds me of Infinity War and Endgame. The dread is definitely there, but it's funny as hell. Read Full Review

Jul 16, 2019A fun issue that kind of matters even if you didn't read the War of the Realms (so glad I'm almost done typing that forever) next issue GHOST RIDERS IN HELL (allegedly). Read Full Review

Jul 15, 2019"Avengers" #21 is an enjoyable, character-focused diversion and a great place to jump onto Aaron's run. Read Full Review

Sequential Planet - Steven Martinez
Jul 14, 2019Avengers (2018-) #21 doesn't introduce any new story elements, and goes over previous and future happenings. There's some funny moments, but mostly is just a re-cap of the story and where the characters are. The art is good, but doesn't entirely match some of the story. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Jul 10, 2019The issue pulls things forward for all of the characters with a degree of wit but without much flair. Ghost Rider granting a watercraft Speedboat From Hell qualities aside, a bunch of characters lounging around isnt a terribly engaging way to frame the inner lives of the characters. The conflict between Black Panther, Coulson and a matching set of Nick Fury L.M.D.s would be interesting if it were allowed to cover more of the issue, which seems to be trying to cram too much into a single installment without finding a way to bring it across dynamically. Another perfect issue by Aaron. Aaron's pacing and dialogue are really the best in the industry at the moment and you get lost in the world of the Avengers while reading this comic. The art is beautiful and the humor was spot on. The way Aaron sets up so many future storylines for the Avengers is a good sign that this will be one of the best Avengers runs ever

Excellent issue but i'm really too hyped for what's coming next. Between rider arc, moon knight arc and everything that has been teased i just can't wait. Laugh out loud reading this one

A really well written breather issue. It gives us a break from these giant, big stories, while still continuing some plot threads and set up. This series looks like it's in for the long haul, so all these teases make me really excited for the future. I really hope that this series clarifies Mephisto and his status quo. In this series, he's in his Las Vegas prison from Damnation. In others, he's not. I think the explanation may just be that the prison isn't actually working, since I'm pretty sure we've seen him outside of it in this series, but I'd just like clarification. The next arc does seem to involve Johnny Blaze and the Ghost Riders, so it probably will be clarified. The only negative here, for me, is the art. I really thought it was more
