Nothing groundbreaking to happen yet, but we have been watching this slow burn Daredevil-versus-Gwen collision course for a while now, and it should be fun watching it all come to a head. In a semi-circular rehash of her status quo, Gwen (and the reader!) finally grasps the plots arrayed against her. This issue actually marks an unwelcome anniversary: It's been a full year since the Spider-Women crossover ˜ ˜ ˜ ˜ up Gwen's powers. It's only now that we can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately for Gwen, that light is mighty Venom-shaped. I appreciate the way Jason Latour's script finally sets out some clear stakes and suggests some next steps. Robbi Rodriguez's art is looking mighty rough (maybe rushed?) this month.
