You Don't Read Comics - David Harth

Wolverine #27 is an intriguing addition to this book. Percy has been building towards this for a long time, and it will be interesting to see exactly where he takes it. Ryp and DArmata are a fantastic art team, and they work well together for this story. This is another fabulous issue of this comic. Read Full Review

'Wolverine' adds more of the same wrinkles to one of the many Wolverine/X-Force-related plotlines that keep on going, dragging the character deeper into a well of been there done that. Much like a prominent character at the distinguished competition, we might be running out of new things to say/do with Logan at this point. Read Full Review

Wow I love everything that's been happening in the x-books so much! After logan lost it after kid omega's disappearance this was no surprise to me. I have so many theories about what may be going on with Xavier and Beast. This is a mind blowing brutal yet perfect chapter in the krakoan age as weapon x is back (or maybe it should be weapon k for krakoa). The artwork is unbelievably great and the writing was phenomenal. I absolutely loved this! Also, a vague prediction to not spoil things I have a feeling Xavier either knows about or orchestrated this whole thing.

Beast's character development makes sense here. Dark Beast came about because Apocolypes left him unchecked and free to pursue his curiosity. Krakoa has allowed him the same luxury, and the result is a "by any means necessary" attitude.

Even better than the last issue. I really loved the way Beast's turn on Wolverine was handled here, especially by telling the story out of chronological order, as Percy continues to do a great job with the character. I have a really good feeling about this story and I hope I'm not wrong.

These past two issues of Wolverine feel really connected to Percy's X-Force run, and I have found that enjoyable since it is moving the collective plot of both books forward. It is nice to see Domino back in action and challenging the current state of affairs with her team members, especially with Sage, who really needs some help, and Hank, who seems to have become a full-blown villian by the end of this issue. Just because X-Force shows up doesn't mean Wolverine dropped out of his own book either, and Percy does a good job of showing the tragedy of Logan being turned into a mindless weapon once again. A revenge plot is definitely on the horizon and I can't wait until Wolverine regains his senses and is able to do what he does best to Beast more

If Beast doesn't get his ass kicked out of Krakoa after this, I don't know what will.

It's a fast, shocking issue designed to wring maximum impact out of a few choice developments. It works even better than it should thanks to the artist going for broke on those developments. My favorite parts might be the subtle but beautiful times when the artist closes a scene by showing other mutants' "WTH is wrong with X-Force" reactions.

This Wolverine comic presents a different, terrifying story that stands out from the usual narratives we've seen before. It's a bit short, but it packs a punch with its dark and suspenseful atmosphere. The comic leaves you eager to see what comes next, as it explores new dimensions of Wolverine's character and world. While the length might leave you wanting more, the gripping storyline and intense visuals make it a compelling read that you won't want to miss.
