Oh dear I have laughed so much at your witty criticism, I'll be honest, since DC has been making garbage for a while I reached my limit, now I usually read Marvel, I just stop by to see the criticism to know if it is worth wasting time reading or not a comic. Thanks for not overvaluing the series in such a nice way and with this I get an idea that it is a number to kill someone from boredom, thank you very much I'll skip it for today.

While there are some issues that I have with it, overall most of the story lines in this story arc were brought to a nice conclusion (or jumping off point for the future) and the ending is great. There is some really good art in this issue as well. I wouldn't say it was an amazing issue or anything, but at least I wasn't bored and I would consider this issue to be worth the price. Man I didn't expect that to happen but I absolutely love it! I can't wait until the next issue! Tynion has done an absolutely fantastic job with the Batman book creating new interesting and important characters some of which will be major characters in Gotham from this point forward. He writes Batman almost perfectly and takes the time to develop and give depth and substance to both the stories and characters which really brings the characters to life. Batman is one of the best books available ever since Tynion took over and I eagerly await the next issue

I'm reading these late because I digital sale wait, but damn did I love this ending. The art on the arc was the most inconsistent of Tynion's run but the story was fantastic and it was emotionally resonant in a way Batman rarely is for me. I'm really sad he doesn't have much time left on his Batman run as I think Tynion could have pulled off his five year plan and left us with one of my favorite Batman long-form stories. Ah well, I'm happy that he's found personal fulfilment with his creator own work and substack - I'm just bummed that as a mainstream superhero a fan, that his fingerprint will be missing from this sphere.

The ending was much different than I thought it would be. I finally started to care about Ghost-Maker and I am glad he is just not gone. I do like how Bruce acts here, how some people can be saved without puncing or beating someone. By just talking to them. It is the side of Batman we don't get to see enough IMO. I didn't enjoy this event but I liked this final part.

I actually liked this alot more than I thought I would. First off, new year, new Batman. No longer has his toys, now he has to go it alone. Dealing with the remnants of Joker War, Clown Hunter now is stalking and killing those responsible for the Joker War, and also HQ for being partially responsible for his parents' death. Some dude named Ghost-maker comes into town to turn Batman more ruthless in his crime-fighting, arguing that empathy is a weakness. The first 4 issues of the arc were pretty good, nothing super special, but had a clear direction, clear themes it was based on, and gradually built up for the last issue. This was a step-up following the previous issue. If you read my review for Issue 104, you'd know that my biggest issue with it was the art. This time around, the art feels cleaner and more consistent. However, I still maintain the stance that we don't need multiple artists on one issue. I do think that this works when two stories are being told in two different times, but it should not be the common occurrence it is here. Speaking more about the story, I like the dynamic between Batman and Ghost-Maker. I think having Ghost-Maker in Gotham presents the opportunity for some interesting stories. Overall, a solid issue as DC heads into Future State.

Mediocre arc. -Dialogue dragged on sometimes -Action was unsatisfying -Dichotomy between Batman and Ghost-Maker was good -Clownhunter was handled ok -Batfamily parts were totally unnecessary -Bruce's training times are almost always enjoyable to "‹me. -Harley Quinn stole the spotlight again. Here we go again. All Tynion seems to be doing is making a name for himself by introducing lame new characters in each of his stories. I thought he was doing well until halfway through the Joker War, but now all he seems to want to do is build a new cast. I knew all along Ghost maker was going to stay after this. If they want a sword swinging assassin to work with Batman then bring back Azrael. If they want a teenage vigilante who goes too far, bring back Anarky. And if they want Joker to have a pain-in-the-ass groupie, turn Harley bad again. This was another bad conclusion to what seemed to start as a decent story. There was no showdown. Just "Join me." I don't care about Clownhunter. Unfortunately, he's not going away. The stuff with Ghost-Maker was fine I guess. The ending was unexpected, and probably a little lackluster, but... It's hard to be upset when no matter how it turns out, you're not going to care. The art needs to be more consistent. I'd much rather have one of these artists doing the entire issue than all four of them working in tandem.

Not bad but it does not drop into mediocrity I hope the changes that they promised are satisfactory, I am not going to be incredible as Marvel is doing with a decent I am well served but I do not predict much they will repeat the thing about Jason's dog in Nightwing and apparently the boring relationship of DickBarb again and it is not that he finds the couple, but it is very flawed, however putting in Zucco can add some interesting drama to that series. On the other hand Batman: Urban Legends seems to be going in a good direction by the writer Matthew Rosenberg (who I would like to take on Red Hood but they gave Grifter) and the not inconsiderable Chip Zdarsky who will take the part of Red Hood aims That will be 6 good numbers if D more

This issue is just dumb. Nothing happens. Bao, I mean Clownhunter tries to kill Harley but can't because of the power of love. Harley says sure I killed a lot of people and destroyed your life, but oppsie and I absolutely deserve to walk free because I'm a victim, and you're a victim and those dozens of people you brutally killed using psychotic methods totally had it coming. Shadowkiller or Ghostslaughter or whatever, maintains caring about people will get Bruce killed. He says it hasn't so far. But caring about people Bruce's way sure has gotten a lot of other people killed. I am talking about thousands. Thanks to DC's love of body counts, letting the Joker live means thousands of innoncent people die every year because of Batman. I do more

The art is decent in this book but the story is very lacking. Batman and two characters no one cares about. Blah blah blah blah...Everyone decides to be friends and Batman decides that he can team up with a murderer. Anyway you slice it Batman should be trying to incarcerate both Clown Hunter and Ghost Hunter not to mention Harley Quinn. DC needs to clean house with its writing division and remove "Edge Lords" like Snyder, King, and Tynion from writing the Batman books.

Just bad. None of it makes any sense. Clownhunter is just a poor retread of Damian. Ghost Maker goes from being violently against the very concept of Batman to being his partner in 5 pages. Made worse by the "I don't have a butler anymore" line
