Under the collective pen of Al Ewing, Mark Waid and Jim Zub, their narrative shows no signs of slowing down from the fast pace that has characterised the series thus far, but all the more impressive is how it continues to keep things moving while still having moments of introspection throughout. No Road Home #9 manages to satisfy and succeed because it makes its cast highly compelling (and makes them visually gorgeous). The plot is made of flimsier stuff, falling, like the settings, into the realm of forgettability. While the shortcomings are significant, the sterling character work makes the issue well worth reading. Read Full Review

The series begins to draw to a close in one corner of the Marvel Universe as the big War of the Realms crossover picks-up elsewhere. The intensity of this particular mini-series owes a lot to the deep emotional characterization that has been thoughtfully brought to the page, and thats what really matters as the series draws to a close Read Full Review

There is almost no consistency in the quality of story and dialogue in No Road Home from issue to issue, and unfortunately #9 is on the lowest end of that spectrum. Read Full Review

Setting up a big showdown but this was my least favorite issue in the series so far. Rockets wish is the best and one only he's capable of but the rest of the issue is scattered and trying to rush to the final showdown. Overall no road home is great but this issue didn't really build on the story and was more or less a recap of the first 8 issues.

It's better than the last one but felt disjointed at times. The art by Medina and Aburtov is phenomenal and couldn't have been better but the story while succeeds initially at getting your attention with Euphoria's scenes of soul searching purpose, it quickly goes sideways. It's good but feels disjointed at the core especially at the long island scenes. Hope they deliver a special finale but I'm not holding my breath.

This was a good issue, but mostly just set up the finale.

Good issue, but mainly just a build-up for the finale next week. Hopefully, it'll be a good one.

This issue has a lot of action yet it comes off as overly climatic and dramatic. Pretty solid comic but I'd still say Avengers: No Surrender is better than No Road Home though. But who knows, maybe issue 10 will be a home run

There is a ton of cool stuff happening in the issue. Rocket grows large, Al Ewing Himself is written into the issue, Nyx gets the final shard, Conan appears to be an avenger for the time being, the Hulk appears straight up evil, the D team of avengers with Bill the Lobster are even formed.... it has its moments but I'm just getting confused as to what is going on right now. The issue was all over the place. I love Big Al, and Mark Waid but the issues lately seem a bit confusing as to where we are going.
