Monkeys Fighting Robots - Brandon J. Griffin

All-New Wolverine is one of the most crucial staples in modern Marvel comics. The creative team of Taylor, Cabal, and Woodard is on another level. Read Full Review

There are a lot of things that can go wrong but that is what makes a comic book so gripping and keeps you hooked for the next issue. The cover art by Woodard is awesome and it shows how dire their situation is. Cabal always delivers good art in all the different settings the comic takes place in. Read Full Review

All-New Wolverine #29 is a fun and exciting chapter to the "Orphans of X"arc with lots of surprises. The team does a good job at continuing this compelling narrative while exploring the characters in a deeper way and bringing in their history. Read Full Review

    Comic Watch - Ivan Alino

While this issue was a fun read, it does not give you any answers to all the questions behind the Orphans of X. However, Tom Taylor definitely wanted to save the best for the last, by making sure that the penultimate chapter of the Orphans of X saga would make you feel more excited for the next issue. With Cabals beautiful art and Woodards vibrant colors, this book is still a must buy! Read Full Review

    Bleeding Cool - Joshua Davison

All-New Wolverine #29 is one of the high points of the Orphans of X story, but its still a little disappointing to see how this tale has turned out. Its still too wrapped up in its own plot contrivances, but its still a fun read. On the whole, I can recommend it, but I wouldnt call it a must-buy by any stretch of the imagination. One of the best series at the moment, anxious to see Wolverine role in X-Men Red. (Laura's armure is amazing)

I absolutely love that the leader of the Orphans of X is Henry Sutter. It's totally believable that he would want revenge on Laura after Laura killed his parents. He would be almost an adult now so he's the right age. Henry is a character from a couple years back in Laura's past from the original X-23 comic but he's a simple enough character that new readers can catch on easily. Smart move by Taylor. Great arc

This series continues to not be afraid to have fun and use the characters in a fun way. It is hard to see where this takes place with the involved characters being used elsewhere in very different ways that almost seems conflicting. Even with that I still enjoyed the story. The art is not the strongest out there in Marvel titles, but fits the title well. Finally the villains get a bit of character and you start to understand them if only briefly.

Daken sacrifices himself very temporarily to allow Laura and Gabby to find the Orphans. Laura debuts her magic Muramasa armor; looks rather meh. Hand ninjas play a significant role, but Tom Taylor sands some of the stupid off their arrival by putting a clever twist into the later Hand scenes. Juann Cabal is again the Rob Liefeld to Frank Quitely's Jim Lee. The overall quality differential isn't as extreme, but this relationship has the same narrowing of the gap between drawbacks and strengths. Stiff poses and weak layouts, not fully redeemed by super-detailed character work.

Who abduct Tom Taylor. No way that this story was created by the man who until this arc made only good stuff (Even with the gardian of the galaxy that I dislike). This issue wasn't bad, but I didn't enjoy it. The armure is ridiculous & Laura will not wear it at the end of the issue (That's a very dumb move when his enemy still have murakami bullets). I find weird that she even go in her mission at the end with gaby ... Cover - Not really related to what I read. And I didn't like it much. 0.5/2 Writing - I'm bored can we move to something else ? 1/3 Arts - Still with cabal. Not the worse & not the better artist. 2/3 Feeling - He have to have a bad arc to show that all the other past & futur are very good. But that bad ? 0/2
