This one shot issue provides a nice little jumping on pointfor anyone who may want to dip their toes into the waters of Gwen Poole (akaGwenpool).  As you've come to expect fromthis book the laughs are abundant, the art is on point, all coming together toprovide a quick enjoyable story any comedy comic fan would enjoy.    Read Full Review

=cute one-shot story --Agreed! With fun and funny. =but at the end you can tell the art got better --Still a consistently clean and pleasant visuals overall. =Cute story --Excellent story. Unexpected guest star bonus. You can feel the awesome Buffy series throughout. =hope the next arc --Arcade is on the cover so it should be! It will be a shame if this ish is an open ending.

A cute one-shot story with a funny ending. I just didn't like the way Gwen was drawn a few couple of panels it just didn't look like her but at the end you can tell the art got better. Cute story and hope the next arc is a good one. IF there is a new arc cuz this story is getting no love. LOL

While Gwenpool doesn't blow me away, it is good clean fun and I feel like I'm missing out if I don't read it. I love how she convinced the guy to leave her alone on the train.

Depressed Gwen tangles with Blade in this one-off gag comic. Gwen is filling up the emptiness in her life with freelance violence. There's considerable confusion over who (if anyone) is a bad guy when she and Blade cross swords in the quaint village of Doodkill. While there's solid gold comedy in the front of the book, the final act takes a swerve into Squirrel Girl territory that feels like a poor fit for Gwenpool. Guest artist Myisha Haynes also delivers some rather cartoony, forgettable work.
