Nick Klein continues to turn in great work. Very expressive and easter egg hunting worth stuff. In fact, this book continues to excel on panels where there is no talking, and where the creative team lets the art speak for itself. Best situational artwork, that I have seen in a long time. Klein delivers some fantastic art in this issue. There is an intensity to the story and characters which Klein brings forth in every panel. Read Full Review

Give me depth especially with the relationship struggles between THOR and Odin. Readers, the ideas and premise are there. I think we just need more. Ultimately, I cant figure out what Cates is trying to say. Whats the theme? Is it about a new Kings burden and struggles? And if so, how can the average folk relate? Is it about the loss of power? And if so, help readers iron out those feelings. No one can argue THOR #20 has voice, style, and potential. But again, the story just needs some teeth as well as cliffhangers and previews that dont self sabotage Kleins artistic talents. Let me know what you think, have a great week, and God Bless! This may just be me, but all of the twists and turns the story takes in this issue feel redundant and uninteresting. It feels like Donny Cates enjoys writing a certain kind of villain, and now this new storyline is moving into exactly that kind of villain. Read Full Review

A really strong issue. I just like how Donny Cates writes Thor, and I mean, sentient Mjolnir mommy dommy? Everyone's fine with that.

Strong issue! Psychologically I think it was very cool, the characters are where I imagine they would be in a situation like this. I liked the future set ups, I liked the continuation of Mjolnir's rampage, and I am quite intrigued. I'm a bit mixed on the visual design of the God of Hammers. Lightning is cool, lightning creatures are not as much.

A pretty good issue that introduces the namesake of this arc, the God of Hammers. The God of Hammers being a physical manifestation of Mjolnir itself wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but it's still super cool. Thor and Odin's dialogue with each other was done well here, and Loki's involvement was a nice touch for that. Also, I was not ready for Broxton to be destroyed and, despite the heartbreak of Adam possibly dying, I think it was a good callback to Issues 7 & 8 of this run.

It's really great issue. I think Cates gonna retcon Aaron God Tempest BS or it is God Tempest angered from Eons of imprisonment. Latter is interesting.

I'll admit I've been liking this arc. I can see why people might be mad but, I just read to have fun. For what it's worth it has me interested.

Like every issue of this title, this one wants to be epic. The art gets there. The prose gets close -- and the author is right to trust the artist to carry most of the emotional baggage. The ideas just don't live up to the storytelling, for me. It's definitely put together with great skill, but I'm with Odin: This all feels a little too familiar.

Not bad, but not really grabbing my attention the way the Black Winter and Donald Blake arcs did.

It's not a bad issue..... it's just how there are so many retcons that literally does not make sense if you read it.

I lost a bit of interest with every turn of the page, and by the end, Mjolnr flashing the audience (with lightning) still wasn't enough to salvage my opinion. For a book that's primary appeal is the art, I was really let down by Klein's depiction of a sentient hammer. Not sure what I was expecting, but She-Electro just seemed lazy.

Meh, I'm starting to lose interest in what's happening in this. It's not bad, just doesn't have the surprises and great character work that earlier Marvel-era Cates had. I do really enjoy Nic Klein's art but the storytelling is kind of bland. Most likely dropping this middling series.

Yeah, this is bad, so Mjolnir is a... chick now? Kind of? Just get Donny Cates off the book, he doesn't care about it and he's just not in a good form lately, he's also bad on Hulk. I don't know what happened, maybe success got to his head, maybe he's having a hard time like King did when he wrote the second half of Batman, point is this is just bad, more Odin-bashing, angry-for-nothing Thor and awful interactions between characters. The rating is this high because of the art, but Thor deserves better than this.
