Plot Doctor Doom has the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four overwhelmed. Not only do the heroes together fail to defeat him, but Reed Richards' strategy as SCIENTIST SUPREME almost kills him in the attempt. Meanwhile, Valeria Richards contacts her godfather Doom on the Astral Plane to try to convince him to stop all this desire to be emperor and prove to everyone that he's better than her and that they were all wrong. Doom sends her back to Earth and ignores all of her requests. Doctor Doom launches an attack using fractured magical energy crystals, causing all the heroes to fall. I feel weird saying it, but I liked it. It was highly entertaining to see Doom just handle business.
