Trying to save a city that's even more beyond saving than Gotham is no small task, and even someone like Nightwing needs a day off to relax with his best friend and to recharge-but when your best friend is Wally West, a.k.a. the Flash, a "recharge" might not end up being so relaxing!

Fantastic artwork and a lot of stellar character work keep 'Nightwing' at the top where the book has been since this new run began well over a year ago now. Watching the deep connections that were wiped out by New 52 making their way back, giving us a more connected DC Universe, especially when it comes to Dick Grayson and his superfriends makes one's nerdy heart happy. This is Dick Grayson and the DC Universe at their very finest. Read Full Review

Nightwing #91 is a good example of how even with lower stakes a superhero book can excel with good character exploration. Flash and Nightwing are the best of friends and it's shown here. There's also good fight scenes and a showdown brewing between Nightwing and Blockbuster that should not be missed. Read Full Review

FINAL THOUGHTSAs with the rest of the "Get Grayson arc Nightwing #91 sets the example of how to tell great team-up stories. Tom Taylor and Geraldo Borges get over the strong chemistry Dick Grayson and Wally West share as best friends in and out of their lives as Nightwing and Flash. In the process there are a lot of intriguing developments with what is going on with Nightwing in Bludhaven. It all comes together for yet another can't miss issue in what is one of the best comic books on the market. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - William J. Jackson

This is an excellent issue that brings home what Nightwing has in his corner, which means Blockbuster will have to really raise the stakes to get at the hero. We'll have to wait and see how destructive that will be, but this issue serves as an excellent dissection of a long friendship and charts a course for what may come. Read Full Review

The bigger picture — how Blüdhaven is changing with an active billionaire trying to fix things instead of, say, buying a social network — is on the back burner. While that's a shame, there's plenty of action and character work to keep readers intrigued. Read Full Review

Nightwing #91 is a team-up issue done right. The issue gives fans of both Wally West and Dick Grayson more than enough characterization and wit between the two of them to make everyone happy. Meanwhile, Geraldo Borges' pencils and Adriano Lucas' colors maintain their high level of consistency. While I've been wanting the series to speed up its pacing for a while, Taylor's deep understanding of his characters is reassuring enough as he sets up his pieces for the upcoming war for Bldhaven. A fun romp that portrays Wally and Dick's friendship well. That KGBeast sequence is a joy, especially when he's gloating and Dick is like "already solved it" - I love how deeply Taylor understands that Dick is just a Batman who's having fun with the job. Borges isn't Redondo, but his storytelling is strong and carries the issue nicely. My only complaint is that the villain is hyped up as yet another of Gotham's many assassins who are more myth than person and then goes down in five seconds - although in all fairness, it would be a perfectly good scene if the buildup hadn't oversold her. There's nothing I want more from superhero comics more than fun, and this title reliably delivers month after month.

This issue is great on its own but continued the trend of the previous few to not progress the main story. Basically we have gotten nearly nothing related to heartless and Nightwing's sister in the last few issues. This feels like tom Taylor is throwing around ideas without fully developing them.

A decent issue with some problems but also some good ones, the friendship was great (a bit too cheesy) but still great. though it seems Nightwing has a serious issue with villains. KGBeast was ok, felt more like filler like Flash claiming to be the first one to take revenge for Dick, like it bat family didn't took the revenge already (Batman beating him to near death and Robin cutting his arm off I think), so... Sorry Wally you kinda late to the party. Secondly they introduce this new villain (I guess) which even batman believes doesn't exist, so she Clearly has done some things to keep herself so well hidden and safe. and is found and defeated so easily for some reason. these things ruins the issue as pages are spent on these characters more

I don't know why I feel that soon we will see a wedding between Dick and Barbara and if this lasts long enough until children, being the center of the series instead of incredible villains and action. I love every one of the batkids and Nightwing was one of the most amazing. At least if I abandon this series I will have Batman in July at the hands of Zdarsky and Ram V, which excites me, as well as the White Knight, a fairly solid series.

it continue to get nowhere, bad fights with boring solutions, an incompetent Nightwing without his super powerful backups, and a great inability to solve life's most simplistic problems. Art is the only good thing here.

Good ending to the Get Grayson arc. Two things : - I like Wally. An energetic and moving companion. A good friend for Nightwing. I love seeing their friendship staged. I appreciated the reference to the RIC GRAYSON era. I repeat, there was good in the scenario (I liked the idea of several NIGHTWING) but the execution was weak (at this period, not sure that Dan JURGENS with the free hands). Here, in a way, the story is "closed". We move on. - I like the idea of an ultra-confidential criminal organization. it's a bit quickly defeated but something tells me we'll see it again. I also think it's smart to have highlighted Nightwing's strategic qualities. Finally, it was time to get back to the heart of the story to see Blockbuster, Heartless more
