The Super Powered Fancast - Deron Generally

    Dec 05, 2018

The series continues to get more intense and the mystery gets more interesting in this issue. All of the cameos and references work well with the story and Howard and Cates do a great job of making the story special and the dialogue unique. Read Full Review

While some of the "cameos" in this issue were a little much (Thor is an overzealous cop! Loki is a street punk!), this is still an intriguing comic, especially when focused on its core characters. Read Full Review

This issue wasn't as good as the previous two, and I don't think it's the writer change up. I think it comes down to the pacing. We learn a few things about this mystery, mainly that some sort of machine might be causing this. And we get some fun looks at changed Marvel characters. Tony Stark being a self-help Kingpin type works because he's an egotist and without going through what he did when he became Iron Man, he's just become worse. Donald Blake/Thor being a cop sure is something, I don't really get it. Loki being a vandal works. Scarlet Witch is weird. It's not necessarily a good thing or a bad thing. Just very weird. Punisher's coming to terms with himself is something that could've worked better if it wasn't in the middle of a minis more

Shifting the focus further on the Punisher, with a peak at Loki and Scarlet Witch. It is interesting, but I'd like to start getting to the point.

I found this issue underwhelming in terms of plot development. The first two issues created a great sense of intrigue and mystery along with emotional weight. This issue felt like it didn't advance the plot anymore and focused to much on Frank Castle's backstory which isn't very interesting or important. The art is also not as strong as previous issues. I'm going to still continue this but I think the loss of Donny Cates and / or Mathew Rosenberg on scripting killed some of the momentum.

This was probably the worst artist so far. Story didn't advance much either, except show more non-Marvel Knights in this new world

Another bowering issue about Castle. I'm seriously think they made a mistake about how writing this story. And another bowering but more short fight. I like the ida of a incarcerated Tony Stark ^^ ... But damn we are at the middle of the story and I expected something more. Some acceleration. Cover - The connecting variant. Nice but not related. 1/2 Writing - Not mutch to save. 1/3 Arts - Even the arts turn to be a disappointment with a change. He try to do what he can and with a better story I would have been more open to his work. I think it would be not fair to give him less than. 1.5/3 Feeling - I fear I made another mistake trusting marvel. 0/2
