I recommend this title for anyone who wants not only a light, fun read that is adult in nature, but also anyone who wants to see how this great run by Duggan and company will come to a close. The next issue is super sized, and this one mostly dealt with a lot of set up. Theres a bunch of pieces in play from throughout Duggans plots that are all going to come to what I imagine will be a ridiculous, and awesome head in Deadpool #300. Duggan is going out on a high note. Crafting a nice story for Wade that Hawthorne illustrates with clean lines and impeccable art that Pallot/Bellaire bring to life. Hawkeyes Assemble!

Duggan has been surprisingly deep with Deadpool in the past two story arcs as Wade has conversations with friends and enemies that have been involved with his life recently. This time it is the Hawkeye's that Wade lets out his feelings too. With Steve Rodgers he brought up the fact that even though characters like Hawkeye, Black Widow, Wonderman, and Rogue can go from criminal to Avengers, Wade was never really trusted. He brings this up to Kate and Clint when mentioning how he tried to help the cause and waited for the call to join the secret alliance but that call never came. He is always kept at arms length and people assume the worst. It reflecting on past issues interesting to think that Wade is always treated like he is only good for one thing. It also sets up the fact that since he is treated like he is only good as a mercenary it would make sense to go back to that life. Duggan is tying up the story plot points well and bringing his tale to a close in a great way. The art in the issue took a step down when it comes to details. There is a little lack in expression at times. The art still shows action well though. Like before the dialog of the conversation happens during the action making it all a lot of fun. I think the series is ending very strong is worth checking out. more

Deadpool reiterates his "nobody loves me" grievances, this time to an audience of Hawkeyes. In the background, key supporting cast members - Preston and Adsit - are prepped to take the field in the upcoming climax. It's executed very well, but there's a definite tinge of "seent it" that's limiting my appreciation of NLM Deadpool.
