I dig the variety of stories offered here, especially having half of them leaning into comedy, reminding us events are meant to be fun. It also holds a key Daredevil tale to make it a must-read for completists and even casual War of the Realms readers. Read Full Review

It's a fun read overall and a nice supplementary addition to the ongoing event. Read Full Review

Come for the Aaron/Sorrentino Daredevil story and stay for whatever else you find interesting here. Overall, this anthology comic was hit or miss, but I wasnt mad I picked it up and even got a few surprise chuckles by the end. Read Full Review

Overall it's a pretty strong package, but it's probably not going to be for people who aren't following War of the Realms already (though the Howard story barely has anything to do with it). Read Full Review

I'm only judging it by the Daredevil story

The main story is soo good. You can feel how lost Daredevil, a catholic character, is in a world of gods. Andrea Sorrentino's art is beatiful. The first and second back-up stories are cool, but the third one didn't do much for me.

Daredevil is the new Heimdall. That is freakin amazing! The blind devil of Hell's Kitchen is the all realm seeing guardian of the rainbow bridge. This is creative genius at its best. The score is for the first story with Daredevil. The other stories were not too bad but nothing compared to that one. The first story was by far the most interesting. Art was good throughout but my interest was peaked with the first story.

Aaron's primary Daredevil story is fantastic (could Jason Aaron be Chip Zdarsky's successor?). The Wolverine and Punisher story I actually really enjoyed while the Warriors 4 story felt boring to me. And I have no comment on the Howard the Duck story. No. Comment.

-- THE GOD WITHOUT FEAR: A smart way to elevate Daredevil to the next level. I'm ready for more -- THE WARRIORS THREE (OR FOUR): The art is hit or miss depending on the panel. It is nice to see Cloak & Dagger -- NICE SHOT FRANK: I don't get it, did Frank shoot an explosive bullet? -- WAUGH OF THE REALMS: Very funny 4-page return of the great Howard the Duck team from a couple years ago.

I admire the editorial strategy of packaging a key story by the event's main author along with the usual "scattershot anthology" content. And the lead Daredevil strip is strong enough to carry the comic by itself. The other strips are solid if slightly simple. It's wonderful to see Howard the Duck back in full "Chip and Joe" glory -- but why would a vet like Mr. Zdarsky write a scatological climax he KNOWS is gonna have to be drawn in a frustratingly roundabout way?

As with all anthologies, this had its ups and downs. The Daredevil story and Howard story were good. The Wolverine/Punisher story was okay. The Warriors Three story was bad.

6.5 only because I didn't know this was an anthology. I was stoked for the Daredevil/Heimdall story, its a cool concept and sounded important. The shortness of the story left me kind of wondering what happened. Plus, I'm starting to think that Jason Aaron has been scarred religiously, his constant theme of unworthy, false Gods is sounding like a personal grudge. The next couple of stories switched gears to goofiness and "fun", again, not what I was expecting in this major world threatening event book.

Main story is great but each story afterwards gets progressively worse. I will not be picking up the next issue bc I refuse to pay full price for a book that I only want to read 1/3 of
