As the penultimate issue of the Magnificent series, it may not be what people are anticipating, but it moves the story forward nonetheless. With action, great artworks, and engaging and sometimes emotional discussions, it's a very engaging issue. It gets to the heart of what makes Ms. Marvel, Ms. Marvel. And even though the story takes some unexpected turns, it stays true to that heart. Read Full Review

Dec 16, 2020Kamala finally gets C.R.A.D.L.E. off her back by impressing Dum Dum Duggan (and readers) with her deep commitment to fair play and empathy. Also by clobbering a body horror monster in an exciting fight scene; this is still a Marvel comic, of course! Ms. Marvel gets Dugan off her back by teaming up with him against one of her established villains. The fight does show off Kamala at her best; Dum Dum's not the only one who should be impressed. The storytelling is strong, particularly the art. There are a lot of dangling plot threads left behind. But Dugan's arc wraps up so nicely that the issue is a very satisfying read.
