Strange #10 sees artist Marcelo Ferreira not only knock it out of the park by virtue of his paneling and action beats, but working alongside inker Roberto Poggi and colorist Java Tartaglia to create one of the best fights I've ever seen. Read Full Review

The final issue of 'Strange' brings a powerful and satisfying close to this chapter in the Sorcerer Supreme saga, paving the way for a brand new beginning for the series that is to come. A truly gorgeous, bright, vivid, magical, powerful, character-rich series that has delighted and entertained and built deep connections for almost a year. Don't be sad the journey is over, be happy we got to witness it and that there is more to come. Read Full Review

Strange has defied expectations from the very start, delivering on the notion that anything can happen in Marvel Comics with a big enough imagination. MacKay and Ferreira prove their imaginations are so big that your expectations will be blown away, making you very thirsty for more. The well has been tapped, and the creative team shows if you think you know what is possible, think again. Read Strange #10knowing it might be the end, but the creators are only getting started. While not a bad ending, Strange closes with a sigh of disappointment for me. It delivered on what the team wanted it to be but I think they missed out on far better opportunities here when it comes to Clea as the Sorcerer Supreme. Yes, they'll deal with the logistics of that in the new series kicking off that I'm not going to bother with. But Clea got a handful of issues where she wasn't dealing with Stephen and even then that's not really true because he was there from almost the start as the Harvestman. There was a lot I liked about the book early on, especially the dynamic between Clea and Wong, but the book opted for predictability over anything interesting and just became kind of routine along the way. I'll always have a deep love of this cast that goes back decades now, Clea especially, but it's frustrating that it's just so simple here. Read Full Review

The ending that anyone could have predicted...happens. Its disappointing. Had MacKay done a better job of making the ending justified, it might have felt a bit more impressive. The emotional end of the series DOES have a rather nice resonance by the end of the final issue. Its just not very satisfying. Clea has been such a fascinating character throughout the series. Its been a lot of fun having her at the center of her own adventures. Too bad things had to return to normal quite as quickly as it has. Read Full Review

Well at the end the conflict was resolved by a deus ex maquina, but I did like it a lot. But by far my favorite thing about this book last issues was the chemistry between Clea and Stephen.

Although the front half speeds by a little fast, the conclusion of this issue (and series) is outstanding. The premise isn't the most novel, but the execution--particularly the pacing--is flawless. The story wraps up in a fully-satisfying way, buoyed along by strong art and solid character work.

I really enjoyed this issue, but I thought the ending was confusing and felt rushed. This was romantic and unexpected and them forming what was essentially a zord was cool. After that I thought the book crashed. Poof was Strange was back alive just like that. I'm not sure I like that turn of events either. Again, it felt rushed. Overall, I did like the series and establishing Strange and Clea as a power couple.
