Unfortunately Lemire’s execution on this series is going to get it cancelled. I think it’s inevitable. Which is bothersome because I love the JSA.

I know many people have an problem with this book adn Jeph Loeb in general. I agree that Hush 2 is unreadable. However, I had fun with this one. I realize the story is very thin and there's no way that Harley would have known that Catwoman would be passing her that exact second, and there was no reason why Batman wouldn't have told Diana his plan, however the art was and it was fun. This is a fun issue. I enjoyed that fact that against amazing adversity, the Vikings pervailed. I like the design of the werewolves witht eh big ears. I believe Wolfen had that as well. I missed the last issue. I'm looking forward to some character development and more battles.

This is a bit better than average. We have MK vs. Bushwacker. Both of them are on a type of Scarecrow's fear toxin. When MK realizes that if he tries to create fear, he will counteract the serum. Not sure how that works. Then he tells Zodiak that he's coming after him. That's all that happens. Not a great issue.

I love Jeremy, but this book is honestly subpar. I'm not sure how long I'm going to continue it. We have the generic trope of a producer on the ropes hiring a person who has never acted before in a town full of struggling actors with years of experience. It was supposed to be funny, but not really. Then we have a weird scene with Hal and the reinvigorated Guardians.

I still don't understand why this exists. The story already ended. This issue is pretty average. Nothing really happens. Freya escapes after being betrayed by Khan's daughter, and then trusts her and forgives her. Can I call bullshit on that? No Viking, after being betrayed, is going to let that person live. This is not a bad book, following in the footsteps of the Magik book. The problem is that this doesn't feel like an X book. It's extremely based in the supernatural genre. That's my only issue with it. Otherwise, I think this is better than the Magik series. Let's hope she can keep the momentum going, because in the Magik series, it fizzled out fast.

Ugh. I love Williamson's other books, but Iron Man is just not working for me. The plot is diluted and makes no sense. It's going to go beyond six issues, which means watered down as well. Only 4 issues in, and Tony's been captured; he's allowed other people to be captured adn possibly even killed. I'm giving this till issue six, then I'm going to drop it unless itmajorly picks up.

I have no idea how Pat Patton became Chief so quickly since he was on the force less time than Tracy, but overall, this is a good start to a new arc. I love Flattop being a bad guy and mowing people down. Framing Tracy is also a good twist. I just don't understand why he burned the money? Wouldn't he have to return it to the evidence room?

That goodness he ended this in six issues. I didn't need a year one and having Hypolita on the team destroys Wonder Woman cannon. The ending was anti-climaatic. I don't even know how the investigation in the beginning even tied in. I'm going to give this one more arc only because I like the newer characters. Let's hope Lemire can step it up.

Thank goodness this is ending. I wish it had ended after the last arc. This is almost more depressing than the original arc. This is not going to end well. The characters are really well done, but this is not how I saw this story ending.
