The Punisher #3 takes some big swings with the character and they payoff big time. The violence, gore, and action that we are all accustomed to are front and center. But what makes this issue special is the focus on the why and what makes the Punisher tick. His importance to the world and more specifically the city. This run of The Punisher has started off with the promise of being one of the greatest runs of all time. You definitely don’t want to miss this one, so add it to your Pull List ASAP! Ben Percy leans into a more introspective take on the character, supported by grim, effective visuals from Jose Luis Soares. The issue lands its biggest moments late, but they reframe what this run is aiming for and leave a strong impression heading into the next chapter. Read Full Review

Pretty violent issue. How is this different from Punisher: Red Band?
Also, I miss the artist from that series.
