This comic has an odd way of killing off characters that make me question whether I can even differentiate who they were in the first place.
Always entertaining tho, albeit too much and not enough at the same time.

I get it must be a Batman written for a new generation, but it just doesn't do it for me. Reading this issue, I was just rolling my eyes. It may be dark and edgy, but I just hate this version of Bruce Wayne and am not rooting for him, simple as that. And Batman / bat man, really ? What a subtle writing there...

I think I might be out.
This is doing really well in the market. I just don’t get it. To each their own.
This just isn’t interesting to me.
And that’s ok. There are plenty of other Batman books.
I will take fraction and Taylor (and soon to be Camp) over this any day.

I like Steve Pugh as as an artist but I’m not sure he’s the right fit for this book
And some of the panels just look very flat.
I think it needed someone like Kevin maguire.

Smiley is pretty annoying and I think the sincerity at the end didn’t quite land. Couple really funny moments though, especially Eddie praying his Dad doesn’t kill him while he’s shooting up Smiley’s goons.

This was a bit slower and less bombastic compared to the other issues. I dont really havve strong feelings for the new butler, and it's confusing on whether Bruce Wayne is hallucinating Alfred. But Jorge Jiminez manga style comic book art really carries the issue, and I like how it's just a simple entertaining one-off Batman issue that doesn't take itself too seriously

Absolute Superman is an absolute blast to read. This is a one-off issue, but I like how in this issue Jason Aaron makes Superman literally eat a lot of hits, but he keeps on standing up to make sure Metallo remembers who he is. Juan Ferreyra's art is also amazing as well

I slept on this book for some reason. Probably because I’m not a die hard Thor fan.
But that was a mistake. I picked up the last three issues.
