Jan 02, 2019WOLVERINE: THE LONG NIGHT is off to a great start with its first issue. The combined elements of mystery and fear give readers the very best of a Wolverine story. If you're a fan of any movie/comic/show featuring Logan, I highly recommend picking up this book. Read Full Review

Graphic Policy - Brett
Jan 02, 2019This is a solid murder mystery read that so far just happens to have Wolverine involved. I've never listened to the podcast but after reading this first issue I'm tempted to give it a shot. This is a great set up to the story and again it feels more like a police procedural than anything else. If that sort of story appeals to you, this is a comic that's a must get. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff
Jan 09, 2019Whether its there to promote the podcast or to capitalize on its success, the comic book adaptation of The Long Night seems to be off on the right foot in its opening chapter. The mood and tone are captured with an admirably clean and simple energy. Time will tell if the comic book series can keep up with what it managed to accomplish in the first issue. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Jeffrey Bracey
Jan 08, 2019Overall though the story is pretty good. The interactions between the feds and the locals are quite nice and the characters feel very human and fleshed out. The author does a nice job of capturing the perspective of the native Alaskans and the agents. It just seems that this story is for people who have never heard of Wolverine before, otherwise the it doesn't work as intended. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - Jim Werner
Jan 08, 2019I liked this first issue of the series even if Ben Percy is taking his time at the start. Maybe thats why I like it as we get to meet the characters and explore the setting. This issue is not action-packed, but anyone looking for a murder mystery with some crazy potential down the road should check this out. Read Full Review

Burns, Alaska comes down with a sudden rash of snikted-to-death people. Out-of-town investigators are on the case; this town has some secrets beyond a recent mutant arrival. The pace is slightly slow starting up, but adapting an audio play into comic form delivers some truly exquisite scripting. The art is far more than just visual accompaniment for the script; it makes its own storytelling contributions that are both clever and meaningful.
