    This book is a fun ride, and worth picking up if you're a fan of Captain America or Panther (or the Howling Commandos, for that matter.) It's certainly not essential, and you won't miss anything earth-shattering by not reading it, but you will be entertained if you do. Read Full Review

    Hudlin seems to be much more in his element with this version of Black Panther, and the story greatly benefits as a result. Sadly, whereas the art was usually the saving grace of Hudlin's past Panther stories, here it proves to be the book's worst enemy. I think Panther fans will be pleased with this take on the first meeting of two Marvel icons, but the series can still do better for itself. Read Full Review

    Captain America demands that the Black Panther choose a side. Pride steps in and the two tussle. The end of this issue sets up some pretty serious complications for the rest of the story. Sure, we all know Captain America -- and most of the other players in this drama -- survive, but we haven't ever seen this segment of their history in any form. Read Full Review
