Comic Book Resources - Chad Nevett

"Guardians of the Galaxy" continues to be one of Marvel's top titles, consistently delivering quality stories and characters, and this issue is no exception. When Jack Flag yells, "Swear to god, I hate cosmic stuff!" here, you can't help but disagree because Abnett and Lanning are writing one hell of a book. Read Full Review

    Major Spoilers - Matthew Peterson

The characters dominate this book, and Abnett and Lanningremind me why they worked so well on the Legion, handling a back-breaking character mix and space-faring adventure without ever letting us see 'em sweat. Read Full Review

If you are a fan of the old Guardians of the Galaxy, you'll probably love this issue; if you are like me and your only experience with the Guardians is the new characters, this issue isn't going to be as effective. The Weekly Crisis - Kirk Warren

    Jul 24, 2009

It's dense, overly complicated and deals with many obscure characters, making this a tough sell for anyone not already following this title. For those that are, you'll likely enjoy this issue, but I don't know if it will be regarded as the best in the run. Read Full Review

After about 15 issues of buildup, the Guardians finally meet the Guardians of the 30th century. A major revelation is revealed in this future: Black Bolt's T-bomb creates the Fault that destroys the universe in the future. This causes Cosmo to send Adam a message through Knowhere that he has to stop Black Bolt, but as we know from War of Kings, it may be to late. I loved Craig's art and it truly was entertaining to see so many Guardians fighting an army of Badoon
