ComicBook.com - Patrick Cavanaugh
May 15, 2019The joy of this book is we get to see an all-new side of the character, all while retaining that charm. Additionally, the book never sacrifices his roguish behavior to bore us with inane bureaucracy jargon, making a worthy exploration into the compelling character that both feels true to his core values while also expanding his backstory. May 15, 2019Yet another great one-shot Star Wars story from Greg Pak. Be excited for Pak taking over Star Wars, as this and the other Age of Rebellion stories have proven he has a great handle on these cherished characters. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - olddeserthymnal
May 15, 2019Like the best of the other installments of these one shot titles, this book continues to distill a quality standalone story, appealing art, and a beautifully presented and lettered book like a fine glass of well aged oak cask single malt whiskey (Irish of course). As much as I like long form story telling it is quite welcome to be reminded of the fact that the comic industry still has the ability to pack a punch for readers within the confines of a single issue. May 16, 2019Star Wars: Age of Rebellion " Lando Calrissian #1 is one of those great introductory comics. It's a self-contained snapshot of a familiar universe in comic form and you can tell that Pak and Buffagni had a lot of fun filling in some of the timeline. I'm intrigued where the rest of the collection will explore. Read Full Review

The Fandom Post - Chris Beveridge
May 21, 2019Greg Pak captures his voice pretty well here for this stage in his life and shows how he's handling problems as an administrator. Matteo Buffagni does a solid job in presenting the world while not having anything too radical to work with so it's engaging and has all the right feels. Read Full Review

Multiversity Comics - Michael Govan
May 17, 2019This issue offers a perfect take on Lando himself. It's a very good showcase for his character. He's smooth and charming, a constant smile on his face. He hustles, wheels and deals. At the same time, writer Greg Pak highlights that every step of the way, Read Full Review

May 21, 2019A decent Lando outing is marred by the artwork. The story is a great take on a maturing scoundrel, but the visuals were practically unbearable. I'll give Marvel credit for trying new looks for the Star Wars books, but I really did not care for the art. At least this is only a one-shot. Read Full Review
