Black Nerd Problems - Brandon Lawrence

The quippy dialogue between the Wrecking Crew is some of that classic Bendis writing. Bendis really shines when answering the question, "What do heroes and villains talk about between epic fights and adventures?". His answer is often hilarious and always entertaining. Tacked onto the glorious art of Alex Maleev makes this one of my favorite creative teams of all time. Read Full Review

On the whole, this issue made some decent progress for the story, but only by pushing things out of the way as quickly as they were introduced. It’s nice to finally see Doom get more attention, and his parts were the high points for me. The book altogether feels a little dragged down by ideas that either weren’t fully thought out or were very obvious filler content. Treading water is never a good thing for a book to do. If you’ve been with it so far, check it out, if only for the Doom parts. Read Full Review

Well-drawn by both teams, with some interesting things happening, but feels surprisingly short. Read Full Review

. Invincible Iron Man misses a good opportunity to explore Riri and Doom's relationship with Tony, and continues to keep "The Search for Tony Stark" at a standstill. Read Full Review

The search for Tony Stark continues, but this issue spends most of its time on the least interesting aspect of that search, Victor Von Doom. Read Full Review

So, I started diving back into Marvel around legacy. I figured it would be like DC Rebirth in a way. I stayed away mainly because it seemed like Marvel was changing just to change. The example is RiRi in Iron Man. However, after reading the last 10 issues including this one, I really am starting to enjoy the take of RiRi, my curiosity of Doom as Iron Man, Tony has a brother and a biological mother, MJ is running Stark like Pepper was, and it appears like a team is being created. This book appears to be attempting to pay tribute to the old as well as the new. In the end, we see RiRi getting her armor back, which was a weird part of the story to me. I would think The legal team at Stark would be better than the legal team at MIT but who more

This issue is not good. The first few pages are beautiful to look at, but very little of interest happens here. Doom falls to the Wrecking Crew, who seem to me like goons who are not at Doom's level. And Riri is going to get her armour back. And Tony is still missing! The thrills never end...

Riri gets shuffled into a whole new supporting cast at MIT. Infamous Iron Doom has a lengthy, unsatisfying, unsuccessful fight against Parker Robbins and his Blue-collar Bandits. The developments aren't all that interesting, and the art for the fight scenes is remarkably bad at conveying what's happening. There are two marvelously interesting panels at the start where Doom says bitter words over his mother's grave, though. That's mighty slim pickings when you consider all of this title's potential.

They are really stretching this Search for Tony Stark. And what's with the Doom downgrade? Also, Arno appears. For two panels. And other characters. +Artwork is nice -Just decide does Riri have Ironheart armor. Don't change it very comic. -We have many characters appearing for two or three panels. Yay. -DOOM DOWNGRADE
