  After two issues I'm still not sure why Marvel pushed a possession story followed by a redemption story on Daredevil. He clearly didn't need them. Everything that came before these past two main Daredevil stories was infinitely more engrossing and engaging. It's sad to admit this being such a massive Hornhead fan, but we have now seen the lowest point for this character in years. Read Full Review

  This doesn't feel like a classic, or even good, Daredevil story in the making, even if it is building to Murdock getting back in the horns " something I'm sure Diggle will save for a majestic reveal. Also, don't be fooled by the fact this is better than "Shadowland," maybe, and so mistake it for a return to form. This comic is closer to a bad episode of "Walker: Texas Ranger" than it is any of the classic Daredevil runs throughout history. Hyperbolic stereotypes and tropes might play for some but others will see the airy thinness of the tale and the shallow characterization and wonder why they're supposed to care at all.   Unfortunately, Daredevil: Reborn is the only place you can find current stories about Matthew Murdock. The Black Panther has taken over the Man Without Fear title, working a well-tread boot into the collapsed corpse of the Daredevil franchise. We're a long way away from the days of when Daredevil was led by top-tier creative talent. When you factor in mediocre art, one-dimensional storytelling and the fact that this is a $3.99 book, I cannot recommend this book. Daredevil: Reborn earns 2 out of 5 Stars. Read Full Review
