I believe this is the first issue of Judd Winick's "Batman: Under The Red Hood." I own the Tradepaperback and the first chapter in that book is #635, so I'm guessing, though the artwork is different, this is the start of the story. If that's the case, im gonna write my review for each chapter starting with this issue. Enjoy
I never read the "under the red hood" story but I own the animated adaptation on dvd, so I wanted to check this out. I went to Barnes & Noble this past friday & I saw the book, so I picked it up. And I must say, this is an exciting first issue. With an engaging first few pages, you're instantly hooked into the mystery of the city & the bloody fight between Batman & Red Hood. Obviously the mystery isn't as big as it w
as then, since most batman readers know that it's Jason Todd, but it's still entertaining. The classic "red Hood gang intimidation" scene, that we all know, is in this issue & more. It's a fun, straight to the point, start to a story. more
