Spider-Man / Deadpool #10

Despite what felt like a mildly rushed conclusion in this issue, Spider-Man Deadpool continues to be one of the All-New All-Different lineups highlight comedy adventure books. The characterization was still on point for this issue. As always, it had me laughing out loud. I just wish the plot would step up in the way the characterization has in recent issues.I've come to realize that this series doesn't need a complex plot. The resolution to the assault from Itsy was ridiculous: they blow up Deadpool's man cave. It's as if the writer, unfortunately, ran out of ideas and just went for the most simple option. We won't be too harsh as we're sure writing exciting comics that connect 100% must be near impossible, but we really do feel like something better could've happened. Read Full Review

Spider-Man/Deadpool #10 brings top-notch dialogue, excellent character synergy and impressive artwork to the table — but stumbles a bit due to the formulaic outcome and lack of characterization for the villains. Definitely worth a read, but temper your expectations when it comes to sating your curiosity with the “Manstrosity/Patient Zero” storyline. Read Full Review

I love how the narrator re-mentions ALL of Deadpool's favorite stuff. LOL You feel bad for him when the wreckage starts. Itsy-Bitsy needs to meander her way into the main time stream because she is an awesomely put together character. The banter, the witty commentaries and the art of McGuiness, Morales and Keith were on point this issue. Hardly a flaw. Super read.

Itsy Bitsy is a delight, Mac's pencils sell the comedic tone. Still, this arc is going on too long and risks miring the title.

And that rating is just for a few really good zingers in that babblefest. That an Itsy Bitsy is a colorful villainess with potential even after her inane way of asking for a team-up here. Otherwise Deadpool was only fun for a few panels and Spidey associating with him on buds level is purely painful pandering. Plus the art was better than DK III.
